  • The best person named Jack from Oklahoma to ever step in a wrestling ring...guess who I'm taking a shot at.

  • Maybe its because I am such a Bruno fan that I cannot really abide Flair, but I never understood why he was so popular--Brisco, Race, the Funks, I got but Flair seems to stick around forever--"Diamonds Are Forever" and so is watching many of Flair's matches-seen one, see a 100.

I always enjoyed watching Jack Brisco at work.

  • I actually remember this match with Jack and & Brad...winner to meet Ric Flair....Ric beat Brisco in about 15 minutes in an uneventful match. That was the last time Brisco fought for the NWA Title.

  • my uncle was a beast

  • wow this is rare for me to see Jack Brisco as a bad guy. I'm so used to seeing him as the good guy. R.I.P. Mr. Brisco.

  • Jack you were one of he GREATS. How anyone can be glad he's dead is beyond me.

  • Thanks for the memories Jack,May god speed.

  • r.i.p jack

  • Kid, first of all do some growing up. Second if you can do a better job in wrestling, be it a wrestler, commentator, or promoter step up or shut up. Those guys would mop up the floor with a child like you.

  • I know about Hart telling Brisco to "kiss his ass" for Brisco saying that he should have agreed to just job the match against Shawn Michaels which became "the Montreal Screwjob", instead Hart easily could have said something like, "I hope you DIE", but he didn't.

  • I remember Jack Brisco on Georgia/World Championship Wrestling, when he was NWA World Champion, in person when Atlanta had the Omni and the Atl. Municipal City Auditorium and I still have old "The Ringsider" event programs with him in and on the cover. RIP Jack, thanx for the memories.

  • Hey jobber25v and danobrocker i bet 1000 bucks that Jack or Jerry could whip your ass like i could!!!!!!!!!

  • They certainly better NOT even think about becoming wrestlers, if they go to any wrestling schools or developmental territories with that attitude, I KNOW what will be waiting for them!

  • What a great loss to the sport........RIP Jack u were one of the greats!!!!!!

  • You two aren't even from the old school wrestling days. What you guys watch today is a bunch of storylines, pyros, music and gimmicks. Even the wrestlers today, that I knew personally, would give you the beat down for talk like that!

  • I got into wrestling in 1990 actually. And I'm sure Bret Hart would agree with my comments

  • Bret Hart would probably knock your block off for it, I know one other in particular DEFINATELY would and that's Hulk Hogan. Why? Because Jack Brisco is the one who sent him to the late Hiro Matsuda, (who even I shook hands and had the honor of meeting), and trained him, AND to keep from having that kind of attitude you're displaying, Matsuda delibrately BROKE his leg to command respect for other wrestlers and the business !

  • RIP Mr Brisco.

  • Jack was the best and i liked gordon as the best interviewer

  • Brisco was great, one of the best of all time.

  • This is the prelude to the Steamboat/Youngblood feud with the Briscos in Mid-Atlantic.

  • @RSXemperor The Steamboat/Youngblood feud took place in 1983. This was from 1984. The Brisco's would soon sell their stock to Vince, paving the way for his takeover of WCW. Ole Anderson, however, fought it and had a confrontation with Vince and Gorilla Monsoon in the TBS parking lot. He managed to get an injunction against him, but it was only good until July. And we all know what happened on July 14, 1984.

  • "Half million to three quarters of a million dollar a year income fugure"? C'mon Gordon. lol

  • RicFlair always said that the NWA World champion made upwards of 1 million a year. LOL

  • very rare footage of Jack brisco working as a heel.

  • Jack Brisco=Master Technician!

  • He seemed to succumb to the hype like so many since ?

  • Go watch cena and masterbate mark

  • terry funk ??

  • terry was better than dory jr..that ol dory jr. sucked..

  • Dory Jr. was a greatworker & technician, but he lacked the charisma that brother Terry did.

  • @1Lawman104 No, both Funks were good. It's just that Terry was a lot more vocal than Dory was.

  • Wrestling had alot of legitimacy back then. Just the interview itself shows the significance around challenging for the World Championship.

  • 'Rassle'

    hehe!

  • this was when it was worth watching great clip

  • i loved the briscos as heels. they were subtle; never screamed, never bellowed, always wrestled scientificly. they just had these evil retarded hillbilly grins. that's it.

  • Sometimes a retarded hillbilly grin is all it takes.

    lol

  • Mark Nulty will see you put in prison for disrespecting JACK BRISCO! YOU BASTARD!

  • Gordon Solie all time one graet time did you know wwe every owl jim rose look up at gordon for the way he does his thing today

  • So strange watching Brisco as a heel!

  • It was Brad Armstrong.

  • who was the green opponent?

  • A great no-nonsense "Heel" interview by a Wrestling legend!
