So is the mapping fully compatible with the fight stick? I am planning on buying the Klassic Fighting Stick with the Klassic Kollection, and I want to map it so that it matches the original button layout. I Understand which button originally did what. I know you said the mapping can be changed, but just want to make sure as several blogs made it unclear. Thanks

@Tophisthebest226 the customization is dependant on the game, in MK9 it has the ablity to do the button mapping. I have yet to DL the new arcade collection so I am unsure if it has the ability to button map. I assume by defualt thought the button layout is that of the original arcade games. I am getting really pressured by fans to review and pick up the new classic version of the controller and game though, may have to break down.

i got one of these and it broke with in 4 days i was gutted :( I think i acctually nearly cryed after nearly smashing it to bits and now it just sits in its boz doing nothing.. waste of money.. but it was the best 4 days of playing ever :)

@opg4 depends the streetfighters any old classic ones for sure n i know some ppl that only use 6 for streetfighter 4 but i prefer to use all the buttons available its all prefrence

I did the same thing you did. Bought the TE and the Kollector's. Then I sold the extra game and all the DLC. Sub Zero and Reptile sold for $50+ and Ermac sold for $15 lol. People are crazy.

This Mortal Kombat is definitely better than any of the ones released in the 00s (Deadly Alliance, Deception, Armageddon & vs DC Universe). It's just as cool & kick ass as the ones from the 90s (1, II, 3/Ultimate 3 & Trilogy) & a little better than MK4.

Neat, but seems bit of a waste of money - I mean LP HP HK LK is gone, so don't really know whether its wise to play on this one MK9. I mean I see there is even a run button - for what... I mean I really thinking of getting one for myself because it looks cool, but thats about it. does it play better on this than on a normal PS3 controller?

@kempet Low and High were renamed Front and Back but they're still there in spirit. And the run button isn't run anymore. It's use to tag in your partner for tag mode fights.

@kempet The Run Button is used for tagging in tag modes. Also you can play MK2 the old-school arcade way, and if you want even MK Trilogy from PS1 with the run button actually being used for run. I'm sure the stick will get more use down the line too

I did a video about my arcade stick. The quality is amazing. The only problem I have with it is the gloss over on the fight stick itself. I already have a bunch of smudges and finger prints on it. However that's just a small nit pick. I must say it is the best fight stick out of of the five fight sticks I own. Yes, even better than my X-Arcade stick IMO.

@RetrowareTV Regarding the Happ stick, those are not true quality Happ sticks because they were bought by Suzo and are now manufactured in China which has led to the decrease in quality. If you want a good quality bat top, drop a IL stick in there.

I was wondering if there is any kind of deadline on MK9's DLC since I'd like to download Freddy Krueger and is he any good to use. Also do you think Ed Boon will ever port The Grid arcade game to PSN and how do I submit a video to your website like Pat the NES Punk did, who later became a regular on your website?
