A continuum starting with the idea that some human beings are property, to the option to vote for someone to hold the most important job in the world. To not make note of that arc is to ignore a significant societal achievement in human history.

Thanks. It's legal to film inside a polling place for news gathering purposes. That's a 1st amendment right. Of course, one can't film how people are voting unless it's my own vote. :)
