Collins has great taste and I sure admire him for hiring so many of the classic Motown musicians. But I wish he, Michael McDonald, Rod Stewart, Mick Jagger and everyone else would realize these classic songs have already been done definitively by the original artists and should be left alone.

I love this album, this track is my favourite. Seems like round this age, most of the great performers (e.g. Tom Jomes, Peter Gabriel, Phil etc) make the kind of music they WANT to make, rather than just to please the record companies, and I'm glad they do!! Superb!

I appreciate Phil Collins for giving respect to his forefathers. I wish the original creators of this music had such resources and studio support as there is in this video. Phil Collins could reinterpret these songs. He could choose lesser known tunes to promote (that would sell fewer albums).

I like Michael McDonald's stuff better in this vein. He's been a Blue Eyed Soul for awhile.

Play some drums, Phil if you won't to back. 1st generation Genesis was a #badassjam.

Nice to see he`s back recording,a good version of the record but I prefer the original version.When its played at some of the Northern Soul/Motown events the original will fill the dance floor,not to sure about this version,but good on him if it gets more people listening to some of the good sounds of the Northern Soul/Motown classics from the past
