For those viewers who don't know, this ^^ (the way Sh. Mishary Rashid Alafasy is reciting in this video) was the Qirâ’ah (style of recitation) that the famous scholar of this Religion, Imām Ash-Shāfiʿī (رَحِمَهُ اللهُ تَعَالَى – d. 204 A.H.) learned & recited with. ☺
And Imam ash-Shafi’ee (rahimahullaah) once remarked: ❝ We were taught the Qirâ’ah [style of recitation] of Ibn Kathīr, and we found the people of Makkah upon his qirâ’ah.❞
PLEASE READ AND LIKE: Shaykh Mishary is not making any mistakes. I know the Arabic text on the screen or in your Quran is contradicting what he is reciting but that is because THE ARABIC TEXT IS WRITTEN IN THE POPLULAR RIWAYAH, HAFS AN ASIF while SHAYKH MISHARY IS RECITING IN RIWAYAH AL-BAAZI AN IBN KATHIR. I have a friend who doesn't believe in religions, he loves islam and Qur'an though! anyways, I played this Surah and he cried so hard! thought it's not the first time he cried when he listen to Qur'an!! Also when he gets sad or depressed, he would to listen to Qur'an to feel comfort a relaxed.. May Allah guide him to the right path....

Please can anyone explain to me why they write Dajjal (Anti-Christ)? As far as I know Jesus has just been a prophet to the muslim and Satan is the opposite of god, so how comes?
@infight Dajjal, full name Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal, is someone who will appear sometime in the future before the day of judgement who will impersonate masih (The messiah) which is jesus. That is why he is called anti christ.
@infight Yes Jesus is our prophet, but he is also called the messiah in our religion. Messiah basically means the anointed one or the redeemer. We believe that one day he will return and kill dajjal, the one who impersonates him and restore islam to the world.

For more on Surah Kahf read Sh. Imran Hoseins book Surah al-Kahf in the Modern Age. It is available on his website. Because of his book and lectures I recite this Surah every Friday and I understand it a lot better. It is absolutely amazing Surah. SubhanAllah.

ignore and dont listen to the kuffar and their evil useless comments! and instead focus on your IMAN and SALAT! Stay clean and follow the footsteps of our Prophet Muhammad (saws) -his Sunnah. And make sure to intend for Allah before you act or else there's no reward, cause no one can reward except Allah (Zaid -Al Qudsi)! And read this Surah (Al-Kahf) ponder on it's meanings cause they're deep and make Ghusl every friday in the name of Allah and make your ablution and Salt PERFECT!
cause cleanliness is half of your Iman, and your perfect Salat takes you to Paradise like Rasulullah (saws) said! Soon we're gonna meet the creator of the heavens and the earth -Allah! So prepare like Allah (swt) told you in the last Ayah of this beautyful Surah -Al-Kahf. And this's for the Kuffar; the Noble Quran is not in english, it's in Arabic.
so the English translation of the Noble Qur'an is Not the Qur'an. its just the translation of the Qur'an. that means you need to learn Arabic and look into the Original Qur'an which is in Arabic to find any flaws and I SWEAR BY ALLAH THE ONE AND ONLY (Ahadd) ; THE CREATOR OF THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH AND YOURSELF AND EVERYTHING LIVING THAT YOU SEE! ; that you'll never FIND ONE FLAW in the Qur'an in Arabic because the Qur'an in Arabic is the word of Allah which is 100% PURE PERFECT AND TRUE!
And if you have any doubt about that ; then produce a Surah like the one in the Qur'an, step up to the challenge! Allah's challenging you everyone including the devils to produce a Surah like the one in the Qur'an (IN ARABIC) not the translation of it! But if you can't and Surely you cannot like Allah said -FA INN LAM TAFAALOO WA LAN TAFAALOO! Than fear a blazing fire who's fuel is man and stones prepared for those who reject faith in Allah!

A. sura 51:49 Allah claims to have created everthing in pairs i.e. everything has male and female. but we know that this is outer rubish because organisms like amoeba reproduce asexually and do not need a pair. B. sura 33:4 Allah claims here that he has not created any man with two hearts in the body. but we know people that have two hearts e.g. George Lippert.

What God meant in verse 33:4 is dat no man will have two different attitude towards a certain thing... For eg:, he may be righteous, or a wrong doer... not both at a time...

sorry brothers but in many times recitation of several other Surahs, this person often mistaken s the correct tajweed, see in this video @ 4:57 the word is tazawaro (no alphabet is connect), but I heard it as Tazzzawaro (he is connecting T and Za) while U can see clearly for Quran also there is no shaad (kasraa) on "za".
@ 5:36 the word is "wa-tahsaaboohom", he recites it as "wa-tahseebohomo".
@ 6:10 the word is " walamolieta " he recites as "walamulllieta"
As salamu aleykum, Qur'an has been sent to our Rasul SAWS in 7 different dialects of arabic language to be understand by all arabs. Sheikh Mishary is one of few Sheiks who knows them all. Maybe in this video Qur'an and recitation are from different dialects and that is the reason of using "مو" instead of "م", because Im sure inshaAllah Sheikh Mishary cann't make a mistake :) And Allah knows better :)
asSalaamu Alaykum. I think it's good that you posted a less common dialect of recitation. May Allah reward you and the Quri/reciter with good in this life and the next for reviving this sunnah. He does a real nice version of Suratul Maryam in Hafs if I'm not mistaken on the dialect.
Question: Aya=6, Time=2:03, The text is "aatharihim..." but I think I hear him recite "aatharihimu..." In his other recitation (on Tanzil.net for example), he does recite it correctly ("aatharihim"). May be just a glitch?? May Allah forgives him for this error and Reward him for this beautiful recitation. Ameen.
@SAMS96max He is reciting correctly. This is slightly less common Qirat of the Quran. The common popular Qirat is Hafz An 'Asim. The Qirat used in this recitation is Baazi an Ibn Kathir.
Ideally I should have used the normal Qirat style but when I selected an audio for Surah Kahf, I could not find a better and more clear recitation than this.
You must not get confused and focus on the written text. This video is designed specifically to aid memorization of this Surah

@infight Yes Jesus is our prophet, but he is also called the messiah in our religion. Messiah basically means the anointed one or the redeemer. We believe that one day he will return and kill dajjal, the one who impersonates him and restore islam to the world.

For more on Surah Kahf read Sh. Imran Hoseins book Surah al-Kahf in the Modern Age. It is available on his website. Because of his book and lectures I recite this Surah every Friday and I understand it a lot better. It is absolutely amazing Surah. SubhanAllah.

I so desperately wished I was one of those people but for some reason the tears just wouldn't come out! ignore and dont listen to the kuffar and their evil useless comments! and instead focus on your IMAN and SALAT! Stay clean and follow the footsteps of our Prophet Muhammad (saws) -his Sunnah. And make sure to intend for Allah before you act or else there's no reward, cause no one can reward except Allah (Zaid -Al Qudsi)! And read this Surah (Al-Kahf) ponder on it's meanings cause they're deep and make Ghusl every friday in the name of Allah and make your ablution and Salt PERFECT!

so the English translation of the Noble Qur'an is Not the Qur'an. its just the translation of the Qur'an. that means you need to learn Arabic and look into the Original Qur'an which is in Arabic to find any flaws and I SWEAR BY ALLAH THE ONE AND ONLY (Ahadd) ; THE CREATOR OF THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH AND YOURSELF AND EVERYTHING LIVING THAT YOU SEE! ; that you'll never FIND ONE FLAW in the Qur'an in Arabic because the Qur'an in Arabic is the word of Allah which is 100% PURE PERFECT AND TRUE!

@wale1969 Why would Satan write these verses and then curse himself and all his kind in them? Why would Satan urge people to help the poor, orphans, their neighbours and their relatives. Why would Satan urge mankind to take care of his parents till their death? Why would Satan punish homos and adulterers by stoning? Why would Satan make it essential for people to wash their bodies five times a day and why would Satan want to glorify Jesus Christ and Moses above the rest of the messengers?

Satan would also show a picture of a 9yr old Aisha to be molested by a 53yr old Mohammad. Satan would think the sun sets in murdy waters, Satan would ask his followers to worship him facing the Ka`bah only,Satan would fight and kill those who belief not in him. Satan would turn his habitant to a whorehouse where everymale would be having sex with 72 virgins and Houris.

@wale1969 if it was Satanic why do we Call for protection from Allah against Satan? And why would Allah curse Satan infinitely and warns us against him & his evil plans throughout the Quran? Why would Allah ask us to be good to others no matter what and never hurt a fly if he was Satan? Because I am a muslim, I believe in Allah, his angels, his prophetS (yes Moses, Jesus, Muhammad and many more) & his books (The Torah, The Bible & The Quran) and I renounce Satan.

A. sura 51:49 Allah claims to have created everthing in pairs i.e. everything has male and female. but we know that this is outer rubish because organisms like amoeba reproduce asexually and do not need a pair. B. sura 33:4 Allah claims here that he has not created any man with two hearts in the body. but we know people that have two hearts e.g. George Lippert.
Satan can also be knowing, but not allknowing.

No man in this world is all knowing, rather people know a very very little, the only things he let us know.. except the almighty creator who created me, as well as you, and the whole universe.. He is the one who havng all the knwldg abt this universe. What you just mentioned here is out of context.. What God meant in verse 33:4 is dat no man will have two different attitude towards a certain thing... For eg:, he may be righteous, or a wrong doer... not both at a time...

(not female,male) When we study Quantum Particle Properties, we find that for every elementary particle in the universe, there is a special partner called its anti-particle that has the same mass but the opposite electric charge. sorry brothers but in many times recitation of several other Surahs, this person often mistaken s the correct tajweed, see in this video @ 4:57 the word is tazawaro (no alphabet is connect), but I heard it as Tazzzawaro (he is connecting T and Za) while U can see clearly for Quran also there is no shaad (kasraa) on "za".
@ 5:36 the word is "wa-tahsaaboohom", he recites it as "wa-tahseebohomo".
@ 6:10 the word is " walamolieta " he recites as "walamulllieta"

As salamu aleykum, Qur'an has been sent to our Rasul SAWS in 7 different dialects of arabic language to be understand by all arabs. Sheikh Mishary is one of few Sheiks who knows them all. Maybe in this video Qur'an and recitation are from different dialects and that is the reason of using "مو" instead of "م", because Im sure inshaAllah Sheikh Mishary cann't make a mistake :) And Allah knows better :)

asSalaamu Alaykum. I think it's good that you posted a less common dialect of recitation. May Allah reward you and the Quri/reciter with good in this life and the next for reviving this sunnah. He does a real nice version of Suratul Maryam in Hafs if I'm not mistaken on the dialect.

Question: Aya=6, Time=2:03, The text is "aatharihim..." but I think I hear him recite "aatharihimu..." In his other recitation (on Tanzil.net for example), he does recite it correctly ("aatharihim"). May be just a glitch?? May Allah forgives him for this error and Reward him for this beautiful recitation. Ameen.

@SAMS96max He is reciting correctly. This is slightly less common Qirat of the Quran. The common popular Qirat is Hafz An 'Asim. The Qirat used in this recitation is Baazi an Ibn Kathir.
Ideally I should have used the normal Qirat style but when I selected an audio for Surah Kahf, I could not find a better and more clear recitation than this.
You must not get confused and focus on the written text. This video is designed specifically to aid memorization of this Surah
