I was a HUGE Naruto fan when it was still airing in Japan and we were desperately downloading subs every other week, that was my favorite anime...BUT for me DBZ is still faaaaaar superior. But hey, I guess I'm being biased here since DBZ was pretty much my childhood, lol. Naruto sucks now. Don't get me wrong, the first few seasons were incredible, but after they started focusing more and more on Sasuke, it pretty much sucked from there. I don't know how it is now and I don't care much anyway.

I like both DBZ and Naruto. Nothing can best the nostalgia feeling of DBZ. I remember running home every day to watch it. Then going to school the next day to talk about it with my friends. Dont get me wrong Narutos a badass show and I watch the new episodes every thirsday on anime-media but still. You cant best nostalgia.

this doesn't make sense...in DBZ the heroes are always the underdogs, but they always come out on top in the end...for example, Goku vs. Vegeta; Goku was always the underdog...he was such a weak saiyan at birth with a low power level, but with hard work and training, he showed Vegeta and surpassed him! vegeta was a saiyan elite and goku took him down!!...that's one example, I could name a few from every saga.

I think they were just talking about Season 5 which was the only season they were showing at the time this commercial was made. And in beginning of that season, the villains were definitely the underdogs. He could also just be talking about how whenever Goku/Vegeta/Gohan etc unlock their new powers, the villians always get their butts kicked
