It was close.

Australia was getting stronger as the game went on. In extra time Australia had only used 1 sub in the 84th minute, italy used all of theirs. With one man down it would have been survival of the fittest. I think Australia would have beaten us.

im australian and as far as i can tell soccer or football, whatever you want to call it, is ALL about the acting. every time someone gets knocked over they pretend to be hurt and play for the free kick. well done on the italian guy, hes only doing what every other 22 players out there would have done. (oops 21, an australian guy dived 40 minutes earlier, resulting in an italian red card)
