They provide no value to middle class Americans (assets under $1 million) that the big financial planning firms wont service. It makes me feel good to know that there are others that understand how Ameriprise works. I used to be a financial planner for Ameriprise and it was only after I quit that I realized what kind of operation they run. And the way I was treated as an employee? They reduced my confidence and made me feel worthless. Thank you for making this video!!!

It was the worst job experience I've ever had. When first starting, they treated me like gold. Then after a few weeks things just got worse. My office manager was a complete dolt and she treated me like I was worthless. I was making minimum wage while working 12 hour days. In addition, I had to give up my Saturday mornings for about 5 hours to come in and call people at their home.

12 hour days at minimum wage? No thank you! Do research, but beware.

These parody's kill me. Some failed advisor in his mom's basement has way too much time. I've been a client for years and have beat the index net of all fee's. My advisor works for a living so I understand a portion of what I invest goes to her. Give me a break. Any fair minded individual knows the makers of this video have a sad bias.

Why is it that if someone supports Ameriprise, they are always a "hack" advisor? How is the share price even related to the argument? They have a Morningstar rating of F, look at the fines, look at the complaints. It is a classic straw man argument, but I'll bite look at Enron's share value. Does the fact that a porn company has a great EPS mean that they have the masses support? It's like claiming everyone in the U.S. supports Islam cause of the price of oil is so high.

Why is it that criticism or a Parody of Ameriprise results in what looks to be obvious Astroturfing (look it up on Wikipedia). Is the company so lame as to not be able to handle critical material. Stop getting fines, stop getting complaints, avoid breaking the law and dealing with the SEC. Trying to control the internet is Un-American.

It is obvious that you work for Ameriprise because you spout the party line and are illogical. Share price and anyone that's critical could not hack it. mvickere, you don't make any sense. Saying someone is a failed advisor because they are critical of Ameriprise is like saying someone is a failed president because they criticize the one we have. The video is funny because I used to work there and like the rest of the industry I laugh at Ameriprise. I not filled full of hate, I laugh at lunch and learns the tax control triangle and VUL's.
