Why don't they just have both DD types? that way you get to choose which one you are gonna put on your titan. maybe nerf the AoE a little to put it on equal terms with the damage the direct-damage one does and then just keep both. but i mean hey, who doesn't love the "I win" button :P

I love all of the versions of the DD effect for the Ragnorok but the newest one that atucally just swarms enemies sucks. Also this one i think would be a tadd better if the missiles were swerling around like they did before :D either one ARE BEASTY

nothing anymore, it was patched to a single target massive damage weapon. used for taking down POS's and capital ships

It was done so that the titan may have an actual role and get more out there getting themselves blown up. Not to mention the lag that the old one caused. I will still miss the effect.

Upcoming change is making it a single target weapon, but apparently powerful enough that anything smaller than either a super cap (I think) will be destroyed. Bye bye BS in that case.

Not so much. The weapons do around 65k base damage. That will take most non-passive tanked battleships, but Carriers should be capable of surviving a few. That being said i saw a mothership take a real beating from one on Sisi the other day.

not that im an expert but the point is all the enemy sub cap support eg logistics and tacklers are going to pop instantly unless a battleship or drake :D has a good tank. but even then its gonna knock out a huge chunk of those ships ehp so another DD or reasonable support will finnish anything left off.

down time = every 5 minutes you can launch a doomsday, but in-movable for 10 minutes each time you use it

First i didnt like the Dominion dd.. but now that i hear it will be able to fire every 5 min... its going to be awesome...

and the thing that you cant move after a blow... i think you can live with that, the fact that the titan is the biggest ship doesnt make it much of a point to move it ;)

It looks like they're intending to change the timer to about ten minutes, atm, reducing the doomsday dps from 10k to 5k, or thereabouts.

Even battleship will die if doesn't have proper fittings. Also many cruiser-size can survive it with good fittings. I made first fittings for dictors to tank doomsdays. (Hi Thulsa!))))
