wow. I thought I would be the only one to put those 2 together - Pig Destroyer and Hank III. I made a playlist one night of my favorite "blues" songs... Low Down goes into Starbelly.... and ever since then the 2 have been inseparable. then it goes into Lower Places.
most of these bands do. don't make enough money. Hell, a few years back TTDTDE's trailer burned down and they didn't have any instruments, so they had to cancel their tour.
they could easily do that if they wanted to. they don't want to make a living through music, because they feel like they'd lose their love for it if they were doing it all the time. they have said in interviews that they are not a touring band and that's why they pick and choose the few shows that they want to play. besides that, this is why they choose the lead normal lives and work regular, unassuming day jobs.
