I don't know what it was made of, but small details could make the costume more "realistic". Like in the game, PH's fingers are melted together - I know the right hand's littlefinger and thumb are the only fingers that's free. Just tape 'em together before putting on a special-glove.

Also, the shape of the helmet is a little more square on the front, that might be possible to make, just don't make it as long (and heavy) as in the games.

Valtiel is supposed to to be the 'Governing angel' in SH and is worshiped as being closest to God. Meanwhile, Pyramid Head is an antagonistic character drawn forth from the depths of the protagonist's psyche.

Pyramid head was styled in Valtiel's image due to Valtiel's significance, as was the executioner with the red hood, thus the similarities.

They are different creatures.

I also considered Pyramid Head to walk more decisively, have a strong equilibrium but still jerky and slightly awkward carrying the Great Knife along. I mean come on he's a representation of male virility and sexual aggression and he's all floppy..? Awesome, though. Valtiel rawks.
