I've been thinking about living on a boat off and on for a while but haven't really started studying the idea until recently, (I am 19 in college so I haven't really needed to). What do you do about lightning at sea? It seems like you're pretty much the tallest, most conductive thing around for possibly hundreds of miles. What keeps you from getting struck?
You know airplanes were invented not so long ago that will cross you those thousands of miles of sea in hours
