@missbubblegum25 for the back i just reach around and try to get all I can on the left side or right.. I am not that good at grabbing the back in the middle. so i just pull my middle from the back on either the left or rightside ... try that.. i hope it helps..

@terismith88 there are books out there but i got all the info i needed right here on youtube for free..lol that is the greatest thing about youtube... i luv it.. but the style that i did here can be done on a childs hair because this is chemically free only aloe gel.. i wouldnt twist too tight though... :)

I have tried the same hairstyle as her. I used Organics loc and twist gel. It has a nice hold without the crunch and it leaves a nice shine. Also, it feels moisturizing on the hair

I say so becsaue you want to enjoy every stage of your natural journey, the short, long, in between and not so sure length/fullness/thickness. However it's ultimately your decision. Aside, i'm so glad quite a number of ladies are going natural now...it's like a movement!! =D

I used IC gel by fantasia when i am doing twist. At the ends i just roll them around , something like a coil. and that is what helps mine to stay and not unravel. I think because all of my hair was natural and I kept cutting the perm off the ends also keeps the hair from unraveling at the ends. Permed hair seems to want to BUST OUT of tighly twisted hair..lol .. I don't now why , but it likes to show its ugly head ...lol The twist last 3weeks for me. Then i do a twist out for a week. thanks

@slimlvn i would cut off the perm and then see how much hair i have left.. Its hard to cute your hair down low.. but once you get to your real hair, unprocessed it is curl and cute.... add alittle gel and water and you'll be goot to go..
