The happy go lucky mood & feeling secure living on a military base in SC changed drastically after the Pentagon was hit. There were armed sailor's & Marine on guard to every possible entrance on base. It also had sandbags everywhere. It was a nightmare because the base & even the town was in complete shut down. There was nothing opened for days. I was afraid not knowing what the hell will happen next. My husband was in Maryland for schooling. It was hard.

I was working on a roof (in Indiana) had this on the radio of course. But unable to see live video broadcasts. We were 100 miles from home. Everyone felt they wanted quit and go home - but for what? We just worked. Worked the whole week and of course listened and talked. Couldn't wait to get home that Friday though

@msk7046 I DO NOT delete comments unless they are offensive and thats if they are pointed out to me. I have a load of vids on this site (not all about 9/11) so i rarely read every comment. Please note the low number of views compared to other parts. A lot of people tend to watch the start, skip the middle and go straight to the towers collapsing.
