Well I've had my Toyota IQ for just over a year now, which I took on after getting rid of my 2009 Audi A4 1.6DSi, and I prefer the trim on the IQ. This video is not a true representation of the normal IQ's that have left the production line... When my current IQ eventually dies, I'm pretty sure I'll buy another one. They're awesome.
LOOOL WHat an idiot! This video is so fake.. youve obviously taken some screws out and not re attached.. I think if everything wobbled that bad TOYOTA wouldnt exist as an automaker right now!
im only gonna express my opinion here but i dont think these cars are a very good choice i mean their good on gas and idk quality real or fake theres just some reasons i dont want an arguement but if u have some reasons on why it is good i would like to know
What?! My IQ2 is not like this. I actually went out to the car and checked some of the things you 'wiggled and scraped'. None of that stuff happened on my car at all. The center console around the gearstick is solid and the plastic on the door panel feels great.
I also own a 2006 Renault Clio, the build quality on that is awful and I'm not afraid to say it! If i thought my IQ was crap, I'd say it!
ha ha,no way I'll believe that every thing is so bad, drive in to show us all how good this all is handling while driving on the road, because any normal person understands that you screwed out everything that can holds your interior and now fulling around. Thanks for funny video !
I own an IQ2 and must say that I have not come across any problems like this - either you were very unlucky indeed or you have tampered with the screws! If the former, then I suggest you return it - Toyota will probably give you a new car for nothing if they can put that workmanship down as their fault! The IQ2 is a pleasure to drive and easily the best urban car I have ever owned.
this is not real.... :S do you think someone is gonna buy this car??? i have this car and this is not real believe me. this is crap this guy removed all the screws before doing this video xdd
@thejointbeats You are a dumbass toyota nutswinger. Yeah, i really bet he "removed the screws" from the headliner and from the seat. THERE IS NO SCREWS THERE!!! Look how easily the cheap, gaudy, porcelain-feeling plastic scratches, and look how flimsy the interior pieces are. THIS IS A LEGIT VIDEO, you are a just a dumbass Toyota nutswinger that is in TOTAL DENIAL just like all other Toyota nutswingers that Toyota SUCKS. Get your head out of your ass!!!!!!!!!!!!
listen puppy...either you losened all the fitting screws...more than likely as you work for an oposing manufacture who produces shit...or you where a right stich up when it came to parting with the cash.....I run an IQ2 and I can tell you that it has the best in class build quality out there!....why mock a motor you don't own....worse still why admit to having messed with a piece of art...

This is a real video. This is a courtesy car of Toyota Motor Poland I have no interest to discredit Toyota or any other manufacturer, but was amazed with the low quality of the product vs. the high image of the brand in Poland (2nd after VW). So go back to your IQ and enjoy it instead of playing Sherlock in which you suck anyway...Oh and never buy a car which BHP value is higher than you IQ. Thankfully you respected this rule
I can't believe that a car like a Toyota with all their high quality controls and inspection points thru the manufacturing process and final inspection was OK to go to the consumer...i know that sometimes they have issues ,re-calls,but nothing like that, also at the dealership they check the car once again before you take delivery....
I have a Toyota IQ, and this Video is a Fake! Nothing in my IQ is like this in the Video! The Quality is perfect, like a little BMW! don't trust this video!
i know mate, i've just come back from a test drive in an IQ with my sister and it was incredibley study, i have a mini cooper s and there build quality was well up there i was seriously impressed. How have you found owning an IQ as i don't want her to buy a dud?
if you owe the bloody thing its highly unlikely to complain on it and therefore admit that it's not what Toyota says it is. The tested car was not mine, but please stop accusing me of faking the video. Thats how the thing really is. If for example the plastic interior door covers in your car are from a different kind of material than youre lucky but I doubt it. Same story with the mounting of the dashboard etc..
@FNOZMAN Just so you know, the poeple with the rust issues (which are very few) were all offered a no cost repair or replacement on there tundra, I work at a dealership myself and I can tell you we have only seen one so far and it was a alaska transplant (LOTS OF SALT ON THE ROADS) not bashing just passing it along

What's so bad about a soft headliner? Would you rather hit your head on a concreate block after going over a speed bump?

1) Took the screws out from the console and dashboard
2) The scratches are nail residue. Have you ever used a nail file? You can wipe those out.
FAKE and FAIL!!!

That's a shame, I was hoping you'd finally move to the steering wheel, give it a wiggle & it would just come off in your hand.
