Christian missionaries charged with kidnapping in Haiti

Good intentions? I would never offer them that. They come into Thailand and take thousands of Akha children, the f'n US Embassy encourages it, funds it, looks the other way, cause the Thais will forever remain silent. Where do all these children go? No one is looking into that. Missionaries who take children are the scourge of the earth.

im sure the missionaries had the best of intentions, however some of the wrost things imaginable were done with the best of intentions. hitler though he had the best of intentions.

and why do we have missionaries in haiti anyway. to take adavatage of a country in peril so it is easier to make them convert to christianity?

instead of pushing a religion on them do something useful like bring them food, water, clothes and help rebuild.

If these kids were orphans, I can understand the motivation of these people, but the children may have other relatives in Haiti who want to keep whatever remains of thier families together. These people probably meant well, but failed to consider the wider implications of thier actions.. Christians often fail to 'look before they leap'.

They were not the parents of those children, they did not have any legal claim to those children.

Seriously, it's not about intentions, or about the fact that some of the children weren't even orphans. It's about common sense.
