They are not that big for fan service, they're that big because the creator thought it would be funny I guess some people don't get the joke. Also in the manga their boobs seem to change size during different situations small to gigantic especially for Komoe. Also it only looks big based on the artist art style, in real life they would not be any bigger than their heads. I like the manga and know one should judge the manga based on the anime because even I admit its horrible.

Personally, I thought it was rather hilarious due to the sheer absurdity of the entire thing. As it is, the entire show was designed around parodying the ecchi genre as a whole. It basically takes everything about the genre and exaggerates it to such absurd extremes, that it couldn't even be fathomed as potentially attractive.

This review on the other hand makes it seems so serious. XD Lol

(Otherwise, I hate ecchi in general most of the time.)

One thing that annoys me. Anime[well except for the Disgaea games, fighting games, and some Bleach] has died in me. Less on character, more on fanservice. Most cg animes do it to[well except for the Appleseed films]. And I now have a dislike for Code Geass[Excluding C.C. and Orange Kun]. And don't get me started on Naruto. If I could turn back time to where Kishimoto actually made a better plot, actual ninjas, and others like Lee and Choji as non-ninjas.
