This particular drama reminds us of the hard work that of forefathers went through to build Singapore. Singapore today is simply not the same anymore. Maybe too many foreigners who do not appreciate our history and may not share the same sentiments as us. *Sigh*

I can listen to this song 10 times and I still feel it's nice. But when I listen to todays drama song only 1 time, I felt sick. I dunno anybody here feel the same.
no for me i don think so nowaday mediacorp drama really lack of something, but just don really know wat is it ..... maybe last time all the sbc drama is showing our real live of living but now mediacorp is showing dama that keep repeat the same problem ex: you love me i love you or he love her she don like him very sian lei
still remember got this Ti Ko Peh Provision Shop man who went after the 2nd wife of some guy. then after that had babies with her somemore!!! scandalous! and main girl also marry the ang mo and had the cute ang mo boy!

This is the VERY drama serial back in the 80s that got me addicted to local drama serials and learn Mandarin from the subtitles.
