how many hours wer you in labor total. i was lucky my first labor whichwas about 22months ago took aprox 9 hours from start till finish really quick and all on the day i wasdue im about 35 weeks agin andnot looking forward to this.

@supremequeen1 from the moment i had my 1st real contraction it was 37 hours. i was in the hospital for 10 of those hours. i pushed for 2.

@supremequeen1 Sorry for the delay for my responce... I had my daughter at 40 weeks and 2 days. From the 1st sign of blood to the moment she was born was like a total 37 hours. I was only at the hospital for 9 hours. I tryied to stay at home as long as possible..so I could still eat and so I could be in my comfort zone.

@sejlas2009 I got only 2 stitches. it felt a bit like a burning sensation. if they allow you to hold ur baby during this prossess like I was. you can pay more attention to your baby so that way u dont have to pay attention to how it feels. but it didnt hurt that much.

I remember watching this video when I was about to deliver my daughter Isabella in april of '08. She's now 13 months and I still stop by to watch the video. I'll never have that experience. I had a c-section. Never got a chance to push and barely had any pain ... You did good though

Getting a blood test hurts more..lol I seriously didnt feel a thing. it just felt like he was resting his hand on my back. it makes your belly to your feet tingly because you are frozen. however for the birth part I had them give me pitocin 2 hours before I started to push. so I don`t know if it makes a difference if you keep it on until you push. I waited 27hs of labor before i felt like i needed it. during labor you might change your mind if you want it or not. keep your options open.

hehe congrats..your going to love having a lil girl..when i was pregnant i had like 4 ultrasounds because they thouhgt i had IUGR cuz my belly was small and so was my daughter. when ever i had an ultrasound i would always ask them to check and make sure it was a girl..lol when my dughter came out she was bigger than they thought..something must of been wrong with their machines,eh?

Haha... U remind me of me. My Dr. said mine was extremely large, that is why I was so curious to see mine. If it wasn't for that stupid placenta I would have had better 4D pics of my Daughter when we paid to have them done at 32 weeks.. but nooo she had to have her face smashed into it so we couldn't see her.
