Hi. Thanks for the vid. When I try to make my video bigger because the screen is really small, it loses quality to the point of being blurry. Anything I can do for this? Thanks.
how do u get rid of black bars that r on the side and sometimes top of videos? i record from my hauppauge and it gives me these huge black bars on the side and idk how to get rid of them. U can checkout one of my videos on my channel and see what im talking about. plz help!!
@codco530 Alright. The problem is that you are recording from your HDPVR with the wrong settings. It looks like you do not have it set to widescreen. Change your aspect ratio to 16:9 and it should be good.
When i import a video it automatically does this. How can i do this to multiple videos, so i don't have to do it to every single video individually ? please let me know.
@cushways123 You can copy and paste effects. Just go to the motion effect, right click it and copy, then paste in the effects panel of the new clip. You can also paste other effects as well (like RGB Curves, ect.)
HEY MAN! can you tell me the height and width of a natural youtube video like what we see when we click on your channel?.. coz I would like to resize a 720p video to a smaller 360p-ish to make it more sharp. Will it work?
@memoriesinmelodies Hello. Unfortunately, when you take a 720p video to 320p, it may look sharper, but once youtube tries to make it larger, it will return to a poorer quality. I usually render my videos as 720p or 1080p.
RE: Resizing your video in premiere pro, to save you going through the same proceedure on every clip, just save the preset you first create in effects control.
Then you can drop this preset into each individual clip you place in the timeline.
I'm so freakin' thrilled right now. I just got pissed off with iMovie because they dumbed it down and now I can't have multiple levels in one audio clip. So I had to come to something more heavy duty. Thx!
how come when i do it.. it looks alright and done but when i export it.. queue it.. when you see the video it has like to dark rectangles down the side.. help
thanks man, but im startin to get extremely fuckin pissed off. i exported my edited video from after effects into premiere pro and in premiere the video looks fine in the preview window or whatever you call it the video thingy on the right but on the left it looks zoomed in. So i used your video and scaled it down but it isnt scaled up the edges of the video are cut off and i dont know what to do. Please i beg of you someone help me!
I know this video is really old, but thank you a lot! I record gameplay and my screen is 1360 x 768, and a lot of the games I like play may not have options to rescale resolution. FRAPs only records in full screen, and I've been looking around forever on how to rescale video aspect ratios, and I've finally found this video! Thank you so much!
(That was so much more long winded than it needed to be, but hey, I'm glad I got this all straightened out)
Hi, thanks so much for the tips. I have a question though. I'm editing from a big movie clip and was wondering, is there a way to resize the entire video and keep it that way for each clip when I cut it out? Or do I just have to resize each clip that I cut out? Thanks!
@yaiochan Hello. I'm glad I was of some assistance. I am not completely sure if I understand you question, but I will try my best to address the issue. Basically, if you have a large video that you plan to cut up, resize it before you cut it, and all of the cut pieces will be resized. In addition, you can go into effect controls and right click on the motion tab. Then press copy and you can paste it to other clips. If you have any other questions, PM my new channel called: TrainTheGamer
@YeahRight20 I'm glad this helped. Please subscribe to my new channel. I just created it a couple days ago and I will be doing a lot of adobe premiere pro tutorials. Thanks. Check my channel for a link =)
do you know how to make 2 or more videos in one shot? i have like 6 layers and i'm trying to finish a project but i need all he layers to n=bee seen at once. i just want to re size them all
@Tsonchi Hey good question. All you have to do is go to motion under the effects panel and resize each individual layer and also reposition them so they are not overlapping each other. I hope this helps. If not I can do a tutorial for you.
