I met Joe in his original midtown Manhattan office before he moved the show to Secaucus, NJ. He had to step out for awhile and asked my girfriend and me to answer his phone and watch the place until he came back. The guy's got a mind like a steel trap! May he live to 120!

Wrong! Joe Franklin's talk/variety nostaltic tv show
went off the air in August,1993. I ought to know..I taped his last series of shows
that summer of 1993.

Yeah I thought that was wrong because I watched his show during his last years. My friend will be interviewing him in a few weeks.
