  • WOAH!!! I noticed a cool bassline in that song with my new headphones!

  • fucking fake! that is the real version sold not the beta you just used toads tool 64 to remove the toads and the stairs!

  • @rylanpeden that makes scene because this video was released before toads tool was finished

  • @dylanneill Well it isn't finished but this was released before the latest version was finished, but Toads Tool 64 is completely, not sure if it ever will.

  • @rylanpeden It is probably a really late beta

  • @rylanpeden You can't use Toads Tool 64 to change the staris, that's part of the model, you can use toads tool to change the character models, they'll be fucked up though, objects like enemies and boxes, but you can't do anything with the actually level at the moment, the only level that you can change the level model is bom-omb battlefield and lethal lava land i think.

  • @StupidMarioBros1Fan actually you can load up the level in google sketcup and change things

  • @GrimnEvil4Ever True

  • @GrimnEvil4Ever O.O' how?

  • @KurtCobainNirvanaxD its hard to explain by text, youd need to watch a video

  • @GrimnEvil4Ever can you help me by pm? please

  • @KurtCobainNirvanaxD honestly i dont know how to extract maps from the game. i do know how to edit, but it takes forever

  • @rylanpeden that is from a 90 s mexican videogame show called nintendomania ,toad tool is from 2007

  • @rylanpeden oh and sorry for the english

  • memorys memorys

  • HUD?

  • Goddammit, I miss these days so much.

  • Freemasonic floor.

  • i want that cartridge. O_e

  • Nintendomania ^^ yo por ahi debo tener algunos vhs de cuando grababa el programa ^^

  • Amazing how they spend so many precious seconds of demo just showing Mario staring at the Lakitu that mirror. I guess they were really proud of the whole Lakitu camera thing.

  • @YellowYoshi398 Are you kidding me? Mirrors were a completely new thing back then. That was the first time I'd ever seen a reflection in a game.

  • @YellowYoshi398

At this point, no third-person game had ever shown a visible camera. It was a neat little thing.

  • @Draknfyre yea at this point there was no 3-d games like it. the camera being movable and fully 3d was revolutionary.

  • it would be epic if they did the whole beta system on the ds port

  • @shilze1 same kinda wants to go for sadx

  • see es nitendomania ^^ que recuerdos aquellos.........

  • The looks like a late Beta, because the others I have seen are VERY different looking.

  • lol no toad

  • I don't understand how the HUD is different

  • @AwesomeMarioFan100 The icons are different.

  • @TheLuigifan13

    Oh, you're right. I didn't see that.

  • 0:56 A continuacion???

    Nintendomania? :P

  • @GumstepMxYNini sip, parece que es nintendomania... :P

  • Doesn't look all that different.

  • @MarioandLuigi150 Yeah, of course, just because it comes from an obscure and not dumped E3 demo. Monokoma does not own the demo, but has found footage of it.

  • How did it sound?

  • lol i loved how they included the camera guy in that game...

  • @zeromra His name is Lakitu,..

  • didnt this game come out in 1994?

  • @MEXiCan8890

The Nintendo 64 wasn't even out in 1994....XD

  • @JabuJabule i could have swarn it said made in 1994 at the title screen :/

  • @MEXiCan8890 Nope it was 1996

  • wow, e3 1996? How long has e3 been around?

  • @pgj1997 well originaly it was called space world

  • @SpontaneousJunk whats that gotta do with video games?

  • @pgj1997 he was just asking a question

    and i gave the answer

  • @SpontaneousJunk just saying. It's a stupid name for something associated with video games.

  • @pgj1997 ya...i guess but remember that it was the ninteys

yes though today no body would take it seriously

  • @pgj1997

Since 1995. Search here for "E3 1995 - first show ever!"

  • @calebgreen53 it was going to have him but they took him out for certain reasons.

  • look like the same :D

  • @Marionist98 No recreation buddy. :)

  • 0:19 no stairs?

  • Now if only I got the same responses from the others guys at my school.

Such is not the case, sadly.

    sadface.jpg

  • @RitorinFox Hmm... so you must visit /v/ quite often.

I take it you don't enjoy games then?

  • @LemonTacoo Not really, I don't frequent /v/. I don't think I've even been there now that I think about it...

    Wait, why do you ask?

  • Yup and thank God for sarcasm thanks for conceding, finnaly over. *phew*

  • ... Whatever the case, I'm glad this is officially over with. Now I can get back to doing finishing up some other work.

  • @RitorinFox ok *blows kiss*

  • no wait, let me rephrase that last comment: Try not to act like old games are the ultimate in gaming merely because they're old...

Damn it, I don't know how to phrase this without sounding like a hypocrite. :I

  • Oh, you agree? That's a good thing I suppose. Don't get me wrong, you can still enjoy your old games as you wish(there are some that I like. Even if I can point out the flaws), just try not to tout your beliefs in older games as correct.

  • @RitorinFox But they are correct, what are you getting at? *rolls eyes*

  • Because Pong was experimental. Not to mention so were the computers at the time. So it would be quite difficult to program something if the technology available was clunky.

Not really much of a valid argument.

And I wish I had that ability to remove people from certain aspects of life too, but them's the breaks, eh?

Oh if only I had that power with removing the REAL assholes in charge.. (I'm not talking about you, rest assured. Other degenerates, but oh well. I ignore them for the most part)

  • Not to mention games today take a "short" time to develop because of the newly available methods of development available. If you haven't already noticed, video game technology is slowly catching up to real life technology.

  • @RitorinFox Pong took 23 years to develope... Well that pretty much explaines itself..

  • @RitorinFox Alright I agree with you, but oh shit now were both wrong now.

  • Because those are the only videos you're viewing? Not to mention they could be easily emulated, and therefore easily uploaded with camcorder programs or whatever it's called. Not to mention Nostalgia blinds people, like it clearly is to you.

And you think it took years to develop older games? You do realize most took a couple months to develop, right? ie it took a couple months to make Megaman 2. And it took 6 months to develop Sonic and Knuckles.

  • As for banjo Kazooie, I have yet to play it, so I can't make a sound judgement on that game right now. Maybe when I have the time I'll emulate it.

And games are far from deserting the online element. FAR FROM IT. Unless there's some sort of impeding crisis that youre foreseeing that somehow affects the internet. In which case video games will become irrelevant and we'll be more focused on fixing the problems rather than caring about online gaming.

  • And like I said before, a lot of older games require "skill" because a good majority of them were developed terribly. Not to mention artificial difficulty at its finest. Slipping floor physics?Fucking annoying, all it does is add unneeded frustration.

And I do find it weird that you said older games cause less frustration if you say they were much harder than newer games. Unless you meant they cause frustration because they're so easy?

THat's stupid. I hope you're not implying that.

  • @RitorinFox I like to have a survey but eleminate all the assholes from it so you wouldn't be able to take it.

  • 5-15 years? That's cute. That means it's lasted almost as long as your precious NES.And of course they'll be thrown aside. THey'll be thrown aside cos we'll have next-gen console.

And we're only going on and on about this because you keep giving me the same tedious arguments, I debunk them, and I get replied with "NO YOUR FUCKING WRONG"

And do I hear about the N64 and NES anymore? The PSX? The PS2? (since you seem to likeit)Nope. No siree. Maybe the NES if I'm reading a Nintendo Power magazine.

  • @RitorinFox Yet I see N64/PS1 games being uploaded to youtube everyday? Yet I dont see Xbox shit anymore? Do I see NES videos still being uploaded? Companies are getting what its worth out of what they have now then they will move on. These consoles now with be thrown out of the picture and as I said used. Im stating they NEED to put more time in the games now. Jesus Your are BLIND to realize this. When SMG got released it got compared right away to SM64. Yes Older games are talked about still.

  • No no, surveys and popularity doesn't determine if something is good or not.You know what was once justified through such logic? Racism, sexism, and homophobia. (well actually that last one is still justified along with other reasons, but that's a different story that I'm not going to bother arguing)

And kiss their ass? Isn't that what you're already doing with the older games?Isn't that what everyone did back in the early days of gaming?(at least with Nintendo and squeenix. I feel bad for Sega)

  • Oh yeah, and I just looked up the amount of games for the NES and SNES. They both have around 800 titles of games. The 360 and PS3? Slightly under that amount.

    Nice try.

I don't give a fuck if youre an NES vet, doesn't mean you hold superiority when it comes to arguing video games.

  • @RitorinFox Also never said I have superiority, just stating a fact that I find Newer games easy as hell and can be beaten in a matter of hours. So your saying that the older Banjo games are trash and that the newer one just surpases it? If I still remember the NES has a shit load of great games and requires more skill then the newer. They were hard, they didn't suck (every generation has shitty games), sorry if you actually had to use your eyes to dodge shit.

  • @RitorinFox Give it time and in 5-15 years the Xbox 360, Wii, PS3 will be thrown to the side and used. While many will still be playing the N64/PS1 because of how well made their games were made and caused more enjoyment then frusteration. Like I said we can go ON AND ON AND ON this issue. The only possible way is to have a survey around the world asking multiple questions on this. From what I read its just the games now are popular but will be sent to the shits in a few years. It will happen..

  • @RitorinFox Do I hear about the xbox anymore? No. Your precious generation of games will be gone and forgotten. As everyone will move on to next fail generation unless the companies pick up thier shit and start caring about what the consumer is getting. By combining whats good from the old and implieing it into the new will make games worth playing rather then buy/play/sell. Already games are being deserted online with the systems now.

  • @RitorinFox Actually I exaggerated give it a couple of years and say good bye to these games.

  • They all have more "bad" games because they all have more potential developers. Shouldn't that be a good thing? You know, that gaming is actually popular?Don't you like the fact that everyone games now?

Oh but wait, are you that type of senile gamer who wants to remain to the old ways and keep games to yourself?

Youre a terrible person you know that? Why do you hate progress so much? Why are you so stubborn? Grow up.

  • @RitorinFox Yes everyone plays games today. I am not being stubborn this is fact. Games are not at thier peak performance today. We kiss the companies ass on thier overhyped trailer game and we give them millions and walk away. I would have more respect for newer if they actually spent time on the games rather then 1-2 years on a half ass games. But you know what we keep on buying anyway just hoping it will be better but it won't. Newer games are NOT doing as well as they should be doing.

  • And you think a console is terrible just because it has more of an accessible market to the public more than the NES will ever have? Are you just mad because Nintendo is trying to stay afloat as a business and not catering to your every need?Hell for all we know that tsunami could have fucked them over somewhat.(maybe. All I know is that access to the dream world in pokemon Black/White will be delayed :I )

  • The thing with reviews is that they shouldn't dictate if a game is good or not. Because LIKE I SAID MANY TIMES BEFORE, that means that COD, etc are on par with OOT and other highly rated games.

As for fanboy: that's what you clearly are. "OMG MY POPULARITY IN NINTENDO IS 9999999% OMG GET OUT IF YOU HATE NINTENDO. I ONLY PLAY *SOME* SONY/MS GAMES" is what I've read off of your profile.

  • Minecraft is popular because it's a flexible. It allows you to do whatever you want. Something the preveious games lacked. This is also the reason why so many sandbox games are popular as well. (Fallout, GTA, etc)

And again, youre stupid if you think a game backed by a couple of 10's is good. Have you noticed that pretty much every nintendo game gets high scores?

Plus, didn't OOT get a ten because that was before they gave decimal scores?

  • I really don't understand this typical "gamer ideology" of being too stubborn and wanting to keep things difficult and tedious merely because it gives you the illusion of being an intelligent gamer who thinks you're better than everyone else. Which is exactly what you're doing at this very moment.

I don't give a fuck if youre an NES vet. I really couldn't. It adds nothing to the argument, and makes you look desperate to trying to win this.

  • And before you tell me that I'm being lazy, ask me this: Do you use a broom or a vacuum? Do you use a remote, or do you change the channel yourself? Do you churn your butter, or do you just simply but it from stores?

If you've answers yes to any of these, you're just as "lazy" as I am.

Thats why we invent things you know, to make processes less tedious and more convenient.

Unfortunately you want games to keep their tediousness.Which isn't smart at all.

    Playing tediously=/=playing intelligently

  • How is stat allocation a message...?If anything this is more the "strategy" element you kept insisting it had. Also please don't call me a dumbass when your arguments are riddled with errors.

Yes, newer rpgs may be easier, but they're also programmed better. No longer do I have to tedious shit over and over again merely because the developers were too lazy to fix shit up. For once I can actually play a game and have fun, instead of looking forward to haphazard mechanics.

  • We're going back and forth on the issue because you keep arguing like a 13 year old. Simply telling me that my opinion is wrong isn't an argument at all.

Older games cost more because there's few copies left, not because they're good. That's basic economics. Games are cheaper now because theyre easier to produce, not to mention a strategy at attracting customers

I also laugh at the"thrown aside" comment. Who's to say the same thing isn't happening with the majority of SNES/N64/whatever games?LOL

  • And just what the hell are these "powerful messages" you keep posting? Your nostalgia senses tingling? I sure as hell don't remember any thoughtful message being transmitted into my head when playing pokemon yellow or SM64 for the first times. You keep posting that but you're not really elaborating upon it.

Also, I broght up rpgs because I thought it was a fine enough example at the time, BEFORE I realized I made the mistake of arguing with a defensive fanboy. A nintendo one, no less.

  • @RitorinFox OLDER GAMES DID SEND A MESSAGE. Im not implying ALL of them dumbass. Your too dense to realize anything I said in the past comments. I played Lunar the first time and I thought about all of the stats and moves I should do in boss battles. I may have gotten the "Game Over" screen 2 or 3 times but I was learning the fight for powerful attacks ect... I have been a veteran from the NES and I can relate how easy Newer RPGs are. Yes some may have decent story lines but older are better.

  • @RitorinFox Lets make this clear a "fanboy" is somebody who loves 1 company more then the others. Its like Mac vs. PC they dont have both. I have all, Im just making comparisons in games. Yes I am well aware all companies are sucking all of our money on these half ass games. Just go look at Sony's, Microsofts, Nintendo's library of game right now. It's pathetic, it has 50 times as bad games then older games had... Sure AVGN weasles out some, but he would have a hay day on the newer shit now.

  • As for your comment about my opinion, I'm just going to take it as you actually saying "I don't really know how to argue this, so instead I'm going to post bullshit and act like I know what I'm saying"

Yeah okay, nice try. I was 13-years old too. I know how that BS works.

I mean, I still can't believe you call my opinions stupid when you think a highly-rated game means it good. (because if that's true, then like I said before, COD reigns supreme)

  • @RitorinFox Its because we can keep on going back and forth on the issue. Theres no point. Your opinion is the wrong one get over it. COD, GEARS , HALO may be rated high but they wont be remembered. Im getting to the point that THEY WONT BE REPLAYED. OLDER GAMES WILL. Older games will be played the most out of all of them. Older games are getting more expensive because they are damn good. Regular xbox games which were great at the time are now just thrown aside.

  • @RitorinFox But your defending your "newer" games so much. WHY hasn't it beaten a 1998 game? If they have 10X better story lines as you say why isn't up at the top? Why is the newest game "Minecraft" so popular? They even said Zelda OOT was Immaculate. Wheres all of these newer games that are so much better then the old? If they put more then 1-2 years on a game then Il start having respect for the newer games. If you compare old to the new there is no contest who would win.

  • And I wasn't talking about them working around the removal of online with Halo and COD, I'm talking about making more casual games like Nintendo has this whole time. If you think MS and Sony are the ones who are sucking money, Nintendo is also a major factor in this as well. Yeah that's right.Your dream company has been playing a major role in this as well from the start. And by your logic, that means they're all terrible, right?

A recurring theme of you is "ALL OF THESE COMPANIES JUSTWANT MONEY"

  • mandatory grinding and the other BS factor I had posted before. As for your "#1," ratings, that's bullshit because then it only means that COD, Halo, and GoW are the ultimate games. Just because a couple of fanboys put a higher rating on these games does not make it good. I think these same people also rate Kingdom Hearts as a good series, when for the most part, it's pretty terrible.

  • THe problem witth your arguments on "games lasted longer" and "they were number 1" are these two things: Because games had to be small, because they were forced on some sort of data limit, developers purposely made them difficult. Most games back then became a trial-and-error process. By doing the same action over and over again, it gave the player an illusion that the game lasted longer, when you really were doing the same thing over and over again. RPGs found a way around this through

  • To finish this off: Ask me if I skipped over anything, etc etc, grow up, etc, sorry for any mistakes, etc.

If it makes you feel better, I'm inclined to check out Xenosaga. I've been slowly adding to my list a number of rpgs that don't take place in some shitty, culturally backwards, 1600's era in what appears to be based after early Europe.

  • Oh right, even if online disappears from the gaming world, this still doesn't spell the end of "casual" gaming, nor does it mean an increase in what you think is the "right" way to game. Thanks to Nintendo, the Wii's (and now the DS it seems) sell like hotcakes to people who don't normally play games. ie those you would brand as casual gamers.

And I'm sure Microsoft/Sony would find a way around such an issue. They ARE business you know. That success didn't come from nowhere.

  • @RitorinFox We can keep on bickering back and forth on this forever. Your opinion is the wrong opinion but everyone has a opinion. If popular gaming sites rates games high they are better then most of the games now. As I mentioned before I could write another 5 page comment post on this. You seem to not get it. Go play your repeated strats in newer games because I'v played them all. I have almost every console to date even from atari and if you to blind to realise there was more time put into...

  • @RitorinFox the games then I cant say much then. The 2 pages ago posts I cleared posted mostly everything. Yet you defend the newer games in there shitty excuse to be called a "game". Nowadays we can pop in any game and beat it in a couple of hours. Back then it took weeks/months just to beat 1 game. Keep in mind a lot of people everyday play older games more then newer. Once the online gets shutsdown those game will not be remembered or replayed just thrown to the side.

  • @RitorinFox Yes I have played Heavy Rain, All the CODS (even gotten 15th in BO and 10th in all), I have played Kingdom hearts, I have played them all. All companies took pride in there games way back then and made them at there peak perfomance at the time.Older games have more of a powerful message/feel in the game that I have noticed. At first we were fighting about SM64 then you brought in RPG's to a 3D gaming plateform.

  • @RitorinFox Games like the halo 3, Gears, COD wont be worked around. Halo 2 which was more skillful then halo 3 and reach combined wont come back ever. Instead they will keep on sucking your money out of you on the series until the company dies out. In RPG's il state this again the miss command was put in for a reason. I have played Xenosaga and I did NOT suffer repeating my strats throughout the fights. Nor did the miss command effect anything. Take every move into consideration.

  • @RitorinFox and to just to end everything off. A older game that is rated #1 means alot, as you think it means nothing. A newer game has yet to beat it and if "innovations" are bringing gaming to a whole new level, why hasn't it beaten this game out yet? That pretty much ends this. Also im not going into the Microsoft/Sony issue I stated that thousands of times to n00bs and they dont want to take in all the info that is right. As I stated before we will just continue to fight onthiswithnoresult.

  • @RitorinFox Il send a PM to monokoma to keep this this up and not to delete them for future viewing. This is /donewith.

  • As for that online comment: Yeah of course it will eventually be gone, but guess what? By the time it is gone, that pretty much implies something is going wrong across the world, and at the point games won't matter.

Otherwise, just take a look at some companies: Online is slowly being integrated into a normal part of games.

Hell even Nintendo has been doing this for a while. Just take a look at pokemon. Online integration has made things SOOO much easier for pokemon. Thank good for innovations

  • Also, I keep adding the same games in because those are the only examples I need. You really aren't providing much of an argument other than "OH FUCK OFF *THIS* RPG TAKES MORE SKILL THAN YOUR NEW GAME"

Not to mention I had to reiterate myself because for whatever reason, you thought that I thought that graphics made up a game.

  • Paper Mario: I played this too. Another boring rpg following the same generic format. THe battle system seemed interesting, but instead I found myself doing the same thing every turn: Stalling just so I can get an attack later on. Not to mention it progressed VERY slowly. (and btw, I'm talking about the first two iterations)

HOWEVER, for an american n64 rpg(there were only like... I think 7 total. And oh god the rest were awful), it was good.

As a whole: I've played better rpgs around PM's gen.

  • Lunar series: I played them, and it seemed like every other generic rpg taking place in a generic medieval-era setting. Which bored me quickly. But looking over some videos... it still seems boring and just like every rpg that precedes it. Reading some reviews(THAT GAVE IT 10's) apparently the bosses scale to the level of the player, but unfortunately this doesn't mean much, as apparently, from each review I'm reading, you're still stuck to using the same strategies.

    How boring.

  • As for Xenosaga.. That's also a null&void argument, as it comes in a gen past the N64 ... also, looking over some gameplay videos.... it seems like your generic run of the mill jrpgs setup. In fact it seems far easier than Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. THAT game requires some strategy.(as well as luck, unfortunately) For a jrpg at least. Or pokemon if you're playing competitively. Sadly I haven't seen many turn-based rpgs take advantage of a weakness system like pokemon and the SMT series

  • Uh, what the fuck? You meant games in General, not just Nintendo, please don't change the subject. And of course a game will be bad if you take away a vital aspect of it. That's an invalid argument because I could pull the same logic with you. Lets take away the ability to have multiplayer in general; there goes the fun in a lot of nintendo games.

  • Comment removed

  • In fact, going over your profile... This is probably the worst mistake I have EVER made. I decided to argue with what seems to be an apparent nintendo fanboy.

Tell me, have you ACTUALLY tried playing a game outside of what nintendo feeds you? Without criticizing it merely because it wasn't the product of nintendo?

God damn, how many have you actually played? I'm starting to get the feeling I've had more gaming experience thanyou. No wonder why you seem so deprived of knowledge of today's games.

  • @RitorinFox Ok What the fuck are you talking about we were on the SM64 problem talking and comparing new to old I gave you example from NINTENDO on why the N64 had alot of great games that surpass the newer. I have almost every gaming system to date so im not "just" a Nintendo Fanboy I have played all the games you listed and is not a fucking casual. Plus you keep adding the same games into this. Ever play Xenosaga, Lunar/Lunar 2? Takes more skill then any of the ones you listed. Paper Mario?

  • By the way, the only valid examples You've had... was just MGS. The storyline was great.Too bad that was really your only example. (unless you counted zelda, which is a penalty because most zelda games have terrible plots. Unless you counted them as atmosphere, which then only MM counts, too bad I overshadowed that with my examples of Fallout, Persona, etc. )

  • @RitorinFox I can go on and on and on with games as you can only name about 5-8 Good games made in the newer generation. You also listed Halo , Gears, and COD. Ok lets take away the online interations. Those games would NOT be the best. The majority of people play those type of games due to the online. Lets say that online got shutdown, which WILL happen at sometime. Those games will not be replayed because there is no replay value.

  • To further the rpg thing: No, there are some bosses that actually require DIFFERENT STRATEGIES. Examples include: Mass Effect, Pokemon, Shin Megami Tensei, FAllout, pretty much every sonic game, Kingdom Hearts to some extent. (even though I dislike that series)

    Etc.

You know, you really haven't been providing many examples with your side of the argument.

  • Also it's quite funny you go down the route of "WHY ISNT YOUR GAME NUMBER 1???"

Just because a game holds the title of #1 doesn't mean it's the best.

But hold on. Lets assume that's true. Lets assume you are correct about that. By that logic, that means Halo, Gears of War, and Call of Duty are the #1 games, because we have reviewers constantly praising them, more praise than I have EVER seen with any nintendo game. (with the exception of mario it seems)

  • Also, quit kidding yourself if you think grinding in rpg's TAKES SKILL. THERE IS NO SKILL IN GOING BACK AND FORTH PRESSING THE SAME COMBINATION OF BUTTONS only to level up. And spoon feed? Right, because playing tediously means playing intelligently and fun? You know, I play games to have fun, not to do the same tedious shit over and over again. Which isn't fun. Nor skillful.

That's why I play rpgs like Fallout and Persona. Both have life/atmosphere, and both lack grind.

  • As for that freedom aspect in games; no, you got it backwards. You can only forward in the first mario game. You can't make any meaningful choices in final fantasy 1-7. Most zelda games, if not all, practically force you to go through the same order of dungeons. No matter what you do, you're still stuck with the same ending in all of these games. Not to mention the replayability factor of those games are quite horrid, for the most part

  • Ah, the game that singlehandedly changed it all... : ] No Playstation game could go up against the likes of SM 64 and Zelda: Ocarina Of Time. The level of innovation and polish that went into producing these games remain unmatched. Rareware, Nintendo, Silicon Graphics... N64 ruled my world.

  • best game ever, this and TLOZ: OOT

  • I remember playing a demo of this back in the mall, it was epic!!

  • can u give me the rom for the demo?

  • omg i still have this game not on vc but on the real n64 i also have mario kart 64 ssb, paper mario, goldeneye, zelda orchina of timeaka best game ever! i love my n64

  • You get the clip from Nintendomania (Tv Show) I used to watch the show when i was a little kid =p

  • why are the betas always so much better !? i like the original and its my favorite game but the betas are always so much coooler>:(

  • @robbiejonny252 - Super Mario Sunshine and both of the Left 4 Dead games were better in their BETA stages...

  • @ribbonhead well, for the left 4 dead part, you're talking about Valve, not Nintendo.

  • @RobertsNetworkCom Well it's good to stay true to old and new games. In reality, they're both as good as each other. And yeah, Super Mario 64 Is my fav game too. Also I was born In 1997, the year Super Mario 64 and the N64 was created by Nintendo so I had chance to experience the N64 when I was born. And the SNES.

  • @RobertsNetworkCom You did, and stop thinking you're so hard. The graphics are at a disadvantage for being stretched out but that doesn't matter. The game is still awesome and can be relived on the Wii Virtual Console to bring back Nostalgia Memories or Experience the old games and learn why they became so famous. We don't need to move on, we can keep our old Nostalgic Games if we want. I'm playing both Old and New games nowadays. Super Mario 64 made the Analog Stick a standard for controllers.

  • @RobertsNetworkCom if u think the graphics are shit why did u watch

  • @gamezonic According to you, we are watching this because of it's graphics?

I can say Sm64 sucks and still watch a video about it, and yes i do like sm64.

It's the same as if we all watched Justin bieber, We hate him but we watched a video about him.

  • @RobertsNetworkCom dont watch the video

  • now i realise mario got me into drum n bass

  • alot of these developers including nintendo, would leave unused data on the game, because they probably thought that noone would mess with the raw data, or because they were protected under copyright, no one would mess with the data

u can find beta data on almost every n64 game, even today nintendo is still leaving the beta on, like on SSBB, there was data left on the disk of unused charater data, too bad its not playable :(

  • how do u play it??

  • Differences: different HUDS, missing toad, and 0:19, no stairs. Also, the game was going to have 240 stars, but Nintendo ran out of time.

  • I would've loved having those stairs

  • imagine if all games commpines put at least one more old game on their old systems. like one last game for N64 or one last game for dreamcast

  • @KonamiSunnyD yeah hat would be awesome

  • @KonamiSunnyD Sonic 4 would be the last Dreamcast game.

  • wow...hi-res...

  • @JoshSullivanGames Marios time machine? XD

  • i like better without toad lol

  • this is i think the 2nd beta, cause first beta was different than this

  • I've been looking for a beta ROM for SO long. Do you know where to get one? There's not any on Amazon.

  • this camera flying koopa just creeps me out

  • @horokeusensei Its a lakitu

  • @Karmarsi yeah, i forgot the name for a second.

  • @KUSkaraokemeester yes it is (hum.. a rom link?)

  • can someone please give me a rom link to this I must haves it

  • @KUSkaraokemeester ill tell u the answer after you give me the game free!

  • Is the camera Lakitu always behind you or only in the mirror room?

  • @chaosmaster07 his camera is actually your viewpoint in the entire game. that's why it's referred to often in the game as "Lakitu cam".

  • @windwaker1994 does that means the game actually puts him there the entire game?

  • @chaosmaster07 yupp. you just can't see him without a mirror because you're looking through his camera and the camera always stays in front of him.

  • @windwaker1994 LOL :P

  • @KUSkaraokemeester dude if your serious I will give you $200 for it no joke

  • @KUSkaraokemeester you have this demo? A demo rom? if yes give a link please

  • OMG what if the stairs looked like that XD

  • you know i wouldn't think this is actually the demo, since i wouldn't recall a player be so experienced when it's their first try at the game and at a 3d mario game. just saying.

  • @fierothehedgehog

....What the hell am I reading? It's a demo, end of story.

  • @eggman18 just saying.

  • Lulz peach's castle is so different comparing SM64 to Paper Mario

  • The pictures upstairs are different too

  • @adanfime9 He doesn't need to, because he doesn't have it. This was obviously collected from some one who actually filmed the demo at E3 1996?

  • The beta is always better. :c

  • @KUSkaraokemeester where can you find it?

  • They should still make n64 games! Like super smash bros brawl 64.... super mario sunshine 64 ... mario kart 64 2 (mario kart wii) that would be awesome!

  • @luigicasino

Enjoy being stuck in the past.
