Hi Everyone the song you mean is called "Eternity Memory of Lightwaves" and it is not by Uematsu is´s composers are Noriko Matsueda & Takahito Eguchi. And yes the top notes of the piano are the same in the first 4 mesures (thats what the loop is in the "original") Regarding tonality and chords ist all different (luky me) and the theme used in this song is actualy 8 mesures instread of 4 (the original).

So in theory the musical-motive is the same.

Yust take a long walk in a big citty and try to listnen to what you hear. That noise sorounding you wold be the SYMPHONY FOR NO TOMMORROW.
