If he takes away student loans, so many kids won't be able to afford college (until prices go down), and the students have the income to afford it.Even if tuition went down to 8000-10000 a year, how long will it take a high school graduate to make that much to be able to afford college, just for 1 year?
The result is an uneducated work force. And thus, low GDP, which will in turn cause a backlash, due to the increase in technology, taking over lower level jobs.

No child left behind is a perfect example of this. Both parents and teachers hate it. People are deluded to raising taxes fixes anything. @peaceliberty4all no child left behind failed because it required all students to pass a minimum requirement and have state standardized testing, which obviously wouldn't work. raising taxes does work because when you have a government with a surplus, then you can put the money to good use, such as fixing public schools.
regardless, public schools receive very limited funding and are expected to be great. we spend 100x more on foreign policies and nation-building than funding our schools.
@Deltrix4762 It is a state and local not a federal function and little if anything the federal government sticks their nose in is improved. I don't want the federal government inacting things like No Child left behind or other programs that may not be right or needed in the schools my children attend. It is more the methods of teaching that are the problem today then the lack of funding and that is what I constantly hear from every parent I talk to Dem or Rep.

While when not following that law on occasion, and not being brought to a high court mostley never, on the legality of following the voters decision, none the less, the electorial colledge does usually follow State vote.

If he takes away student loans, so many kids won't be able to afford college (until prices go down), and the students have the income to afford it.Even if tuition went down to 8000-10000 a year, how long will it take a high school graduate to make that much to be able to afford college, just for 1 year?
The result is an uneducated work force. And thus, low GDP, which will in turn cause a backlash, due to the increase in technology, taking over lower level jobs.

@peaceliberty4all no child left behind failed because it required all students to pass a minimum requirement and have state standardized testing, which obviously wouldn't work. raising taxes does work because when you have a government with a surplus, then you can put the money to good use, such as fixing public schools.
regardless, public schools receive very limited funding and are expected to be great. we spend 100x more on foreign policies and nation-building than funding our schools.

I don't want the federal government inacting things like No Child left behind or other programs that may not be right or needed in the schools my children attend. It is more the methods of teaching that are the problem today then the lack of funding and that is what I constantly hear from every parent I talk to Dem or Rep.

Why anyone would vote for gingrich, romney, bacchman, santorum is beyond me. All of those candidates come off as more of the same paid-off politicians that are not working in the best interest of their own country. Ron Paul is the only genuine candidate with a strong ethical integrity, and to be honest he is just so damn inspiring! We must elect this man!
