@rascalflattlov3r96 because contrary to popular belief, simon doesn't have a very good musical ear. he's a little better with the production aspects but it was randy who had the ear on the show. i'd listen to some of the comments simon would make on people's vocalism and voice and think he was complete moron. hearing intonation problems that weren't there and being impressed with boring vocal performances that lack depth.
