I stumbled across this video and it has cheered me right up. Miss Starr was one of the best "old school" drag artistes who really knew how to work an audience. She was like a saucy sea side post card, a little bit blue but never crude. How I wish I could see her perform again she was one of my favourites. Thank you for sharing your video with us "older queens".

Thanks for posting this, such a talent so sadly taken from us.

We used to love going to Brighton and the highlight of our weekends would always be seeing Phil perform at The Queens Arms.

Thanks mate for posting all these. Nobody will ever beat Phil for his timing or the way he could respond to hecklers, always with a great put down without ever being nasty. Sadly missed indeed and nobody around who comes even close

enchanting much better than the airbrushed wannabe impersonators of today--i say impersonators because they are that more than queens arent they? they only want to mouth the words to whatever the hell is on the radio--thasts not very original then is it?
