I always did the dark brotherhood on every single game I made without even knowing this existed. Including my current game. It's that much more illusive because, if you're not careful, you'll kill the possibility for this quest by completing a faction quest that is quite common.

I loved doing this quest! I did it legit without guides and every time I found a statue, I felt a huge sense of achievement! Here's hoping there's something similar in Skyrim! This was a great guide.

The easiest way to make sure you can leave Winder is to get the skeleington key.

But if you're a boss like me, you'll know that the secret to lockpicking is to listen for one of the light "ta-tick" sounds that indicate that the tumbler will move much more slowly.

With this knowledge it is possible to lockpick a very hard lock, with a single pick, with a lockpick skill of 1.

I have acheived this many times.

Wow, thanks! I didn't know what to expect at first, so I just went into a dungeon (this was about 7 months ago) and found the first available statue. Wandered into Umbaccano's for some reason and gave him the statue. After hearing there were 9 more to find, I quit it. Thanks for the info though!

Sorry about an off topic comment, but I've been having a weird problem. I can't run this game with full render distance, but can play Battlefield 3 on max settings with 50 FPS. Is it because of this games age that makes it less playable on newer graphics cards?

Gold/money has NEVER been a problem for me in Oblivion and I have played it since it cam out and still play it and still love it.

Im more looking for all the items that are uniqe and trying to make my characters as good as possible, Im kinda like a perfectionist when it comes to RPG games ^^

But can you keep the statues? like, have them in your home as part of the decoration, that would enlighten some parts of the house. :3

It's quite amazing how Oblivion is one of those games that truly stands up to the test of time. This game is over 4 years old and people still play it and it's still fun for me, being my probably 20th time playing through it. I still find some cool things or do quests that I never found or did because they were out of the way or I was never aware of them.

The reason on that is double edged.

I'm not advertising myself much, and my subscriber base doesn't really spread my work on the social network. Thus the number one way people discover my videos, (according to insight feedback) is through search terms, and then related videos.

My number one source of views are from related videos, and even then the referring videos are almost exclusively other video I make.

I'm not growing fast because I'm functioning in a closed loop. =\
