  • Whoever entitled this video has clearly never heard of Mike DiPippo.

  • THE most pointless piece of equipment ever made. it doesn't even sound good on drugs

  • That child has no idea what is occurring lol

  • sweet.....I can apppreciate...♥

  • This is the first ever vid from Led Zep I rate as a disappointment ..... not good at all! But you can't be perfect ALL the time :)

  • It's pretty useless as an instrument. Who finally thought "let's attach a keyboard to it?" It's fun, but you HAVE to have a really good ear for pitch. I love Page's approach. Run bloody echoplex on the thing and just have FUN with it. First saw him do this in "The Song Remains The Same" movie circa 73. Anyone who was trippin PROBABLY really enjoyed Jimmy's wizard-like control over the sound. It's called "SHOWMANSHIP". He was rarely standing still, Totally kicked ass on guitar. A ROCK STAR

  • Plant is wearing Christ's picture to protect himself from page's dark forces lol!

  • tremendo!

  • @walenski2404 SHUT UP

  • Isn't this little minnion of satan dead Yet??? Hurry up and despatch yourself to HELL you little twit! P.S leave all your money to Zu Guttenberg!!!

  • @walenski2404 You are joking right? I mean you can't be saying this seriously?

  • @walenski2404 By little minion of Satan do you mean yourself?

  • very Spinal Tap

  • I wonder if he also could play melodies or melodic scales on the theramin. Very interesting noise.

  • @edmatper ya i love jimmy pages guitar playing but honestly this is just noise. look up clara rockmore if you wanna see a good theremin playing

  • that kid at 0:25 is witnessing awsome music

  • For me, Page's theremin solo (with the unit running through two Meastro Echoplexes before sending the signal to the amps) was & is the most interesting and entertaining part of his performance. Between this, and his playing a Gibson Les Paul electric guitar with a violin bow, he sets himself well ahead of mainstream guitarists in concert. "Will the music be your master, will you heed the master's call?"

  • ..after all these years of owning such a beautiful instrument:

nothing like stupid wooo-weees and a bit of delay....poor old man!

  • @Mr67wolf whers your record hotshot ?

  • @SuicideBoner8IIIIIID YES MIGHTY WIZARD

  • @yipchak

shut yer yap. it makes noise.

  • Learn to play it, Jimmy. It makes music.

  • @yipchak define music?

  • JImmy is the master of music. He has mastered the one thing many of us spend our whole live to master.

  • Plant wearing a shirt of the Christ.!!! Nice!

  • jimmy page was the man.. led zeppelin was one of the greatest / ONE of my alltime favorite bands..

but this is FAAAAR from the best theremin playing. if you'd take the time to watch other vids of ppl playing Theremin, you'd understand that Page was just on drugs making cool sounds.. lol

    P.S. no disrespect atall

  • @Jagethemage Actually Page was off drugs around this point. Towards the end of Led Zeppelin's career all of them members had waned off of drug use and rarely used them. After Bonham died, they all took measures to stop. This is from Page and Plant, long after Led Zep had broken up.

Also: I am an avid fan of noise music(essentially what Page is using the theramin as) and I don't use drugs. He could just like making cool noises

  • @Grunge00125 well i can dig that statement for sure. woulda sounded pretty dam cool coming off of their sound set in itself haha

  • @Grunge00125 people like to attribute Pageys sickly appearance in the early 80's to heroin , which I am certain he was using then , but I think his whiskey drinking was what really was tearing him down the worst. The booze every day will destroy ones health even faster than heroin , contrary to popular belief. He is still a drinker , but

I believe he has a handle on it nowadays

  • Well done man, you and your kid in the video(?)

  • around 0:24 Paul Gilbert realized his talent.

  • im buying a theremin now

  • the look on the kid's face is priceless! lol

  • @MrPageyzoso yeh the kids...omg my parents brought me to see satan...cool...lol
