No actually rushing take alot of skill,if you perform your rush wrong then you are pretty much out of the game,and rush is very easy to counter so it you have the skill to pull off and win with a rush you are very good!

contrary to your belief. rushing is actually a valid strategy and it's those who can't prepare for a rush in time who have no skill. however, someone who fails a rush and resigns has even less skill than that.

also no offense intended but you did not really manage the odst's well. instead of using all the rockets on one brute, you could have selected small groups of odst's and made them each rocket different brutes

terrible idea. odst's are annoying enough as it is. however you cannot expect to spam nothing but odsts and expect to win. they are probably the most balanced super unit there is since you still need to have a diverse army when using odst's

I understand that, but they're not that much better than regular marines. The Grizzly is better than the Scorpion. The Hawk is better than the Hornet. But the ODSTs are practically the same as regular marine units. the only difference is they ise shotguns and have different armor. They should be better than that.

odst's are much better armored than marines, they have more powerful attacks, plus you can instantly reinforce them...they can really be a pain to deal with especially in 2v2

It actually does during deathmatch. In deathmatch when you assault a base, it helps that you can instantly replace the units you lose by merely throwing down odst troops right into the middle of the fray. Thats why most people play as Captain Cutter when they play Deathmatch.
