I am newly compelled to care about the terrible suffering and oppression of the peaceful Burmese people. Dead bodies and skeletons fill the rice fields such that many have been abandoned, orphaned children warned not to go outside at night to avoid being kidnapped for the sale of their body parts and organs. Almost constantly facing starvation, the people hang on.
Finding Jackson Browne already involved in this comes as no surprise. I know my thoughts and wishes are in good company.
Thank you Jackson Browne for your work to free Aung San Suu Kyi. We dedicate our song BUDDHA'S SMILE to Aung San Suu Kyi and the people of Burma. May they all soon have peace, freedom and democracy and all the human rights everybody on earth shall have
Use your liberty to promote ours /Aung San Suu Kyi)
Make sure you go add your name to the million... we're so far from the goal. just sign up on the site. its the least we can do, i encourage you to do more! get involved, spread the word.
Too bad they don't have oil wells, then the U.S. political machine would be there "to alleviate the oppression" faster than stink on shit.
