try throwing it at a 135 degree angle and rabbits let you get around 2-3 yards to them you should also try and get the size of your forearm about one and a half feet long then carve all but 2 hand widths down into a handle it should also have a slight curve way more accurate then what your using been used in the southeast for thusands of years

EarthWalkerPrimitive is going to go hungry most every day hunting with a rabbit stick from that distance. Practice on being able to be closer to nature. Give to nature it will give to you by letting you in close. A hand made spear from a shaft of hard wood sharpened on one end then fired is the better weapon from 30 meters! The stick is effective at short range only!

you should rest the rabbit stick on your shoulder. animals vision is based mostly on motion. you won't have time to draw the stick backwards and then throw it. so if you just rest it on your shoulder it's much faster of an attack and more efficient
