  • More music more music more music!

  • Is this a concept album? it reminds me of The Beach Boys- Smile and the groundbreaking album,Sgt Peppers Lonely Heart Club Band~

  • this sucks :S

  • oh ya... this song was written by John Speedy Keen!

  • The sea is already brown.

  • that "Monday, TUesday, Wednesday, Thurssday" in the beginnig scares me...

  • "its smooth sailing with the highly successful sound of wonderful radio london".

  • I love this album and band, thanks for uploading this. They abd the Bee Gees are my favorite british bands and one of the greatest of all time.

  • i have a very important question-

on Heinz Baked Beans, who says each spoken part? Keith sounds like he's saying whats for tea mum...

if you could clear this up for me, i'd love you forever

  • @bandit687 Keith Moon=what's for tea mum, Pete Townshend=what's for tea darling, John Entwistle=what's for tea daughter

  • you should upload A Quick One as well

  • @TheHappyDudeUK

Yeah sorry dude, for not getting on with the series. I was eager to start it, then I somehow abandoned it and haven't gotten around to it. My ultimate goal is just to upload all major Who albums w/ the lyrics of course. I will try and do the rest of this album and A Quick One is def. one I'm gonna tackle soon!

  • The Who Sellout is the best record they ever made. Not a fan of most of their bombastic stuff as who can play windmill guitar and really play great and on this record I don't have to heard Daltry's pompous voice - what I hear is more subdued and sensitive and a voice not badgering a song. Armenia City In The Sky Mary-Anne With The Shaky Hands Odorono Tattoo Our Love Was Is I Can See For Miles

    I Can't Reach You

Best drumming ever - I can see for miles.

  • Yes, you can really tell that Daltrey was more subdued in this album.

  • @nubbie1944 Yes and the consensus of Who fans probably don't appreciated it. oh well.

  • @11xzxzxz

Point well taken, and very much correct, given the amount of views of these songs, which were uploaded here over a year ago.

It's a shame that Who fans seem to want to hear that raking but appealing voice of Daltry's, and hear Pete destroying his guitar strings with his fingers, and Moon clobbering his drums.

This is an opportunity to have your cake and eat it too. Too bad the majority of millions of Who fans aren't interested in expanding their appeal for them.

    Peace.

    Rock

  • Rockinroller7. Really nice to hear that you just aren't into the bombastic Who. The bombastic odoroiness have me turning off most Who songs I never want to hear "who are you" ever again.

Give me "Happy Jack" any day.

  • 11xzxzxz

    Sure.

If you want bombastic, listen to 'who are you,' and more power to those who do, but 'happy jack,' is certainly more clever, which can usually make for a great song.

    Peace.

    Rock

  • ...and I guess she should've used Odorono...hahaha best song lyrics ever...

  • The ending of the album is a little 'spotty' but the interLudes are phanspastical.

    Wonderful Radio LONDON-N-n-nn.

    Shaky hands=hand job btw.

  • lol i had a double take wen i saw the song title lol

  • this is just the coolest shit

  • One of the BEST Rock albums..ever!

    Completely unrecoginized as such.

Thanks for posting and for recording/background history!

  • i love the back n front cover SO HILARIUS!

  • "odorono, turn prespiration into insperation" lol

  • Darling, I said whats for tea

  • this album's no quadrophenia but it still rocks :)

  • so much more fun i think.......and the songs are better.

  • pete townshend the biggest nose in rock and roll

  • @MrToonaPhish

If Townshend has the biggest nose in rock, then does Ray Davies (personal hero) have the biggest gap between his teeth, in rock history? Haha,

  • @MrToonaPhish ringo?

  • @MrToonaPhish - what about Geddy Lee?

  • Pete Townsend's Nose > Milton Burle's Gigantic Penis

  • In magnitude, Pete Townsend's Nose > Milton Burle's Gigantic world renowned Penis

  • @MrToonaPhish So what? Pete Townshend, next to Lennon and McCartney or Ray Davies is the biggest talent in rock history. You ever hear Pete Townshend cover Phish? You ever hear Phish cover the......YES they did, the whole Quadrophenia album.

  • @MrToonaPhish he pits ringo to shame (also I am responding to a 2 year old comment)

  • this album sounds alot like the beatles at parts

  • but not quite as girly lol

  • its a 13 - 14 track album 14 if you count rael 1 and 2 as dif songs

  • of all the albums you've shown me, this is my favorite.

  • Nice to know someone has taste .. this is the best Who CD .. it doesn't tire on you. It's spooky and has I can see for miles and doesn't have the lousy song "who are you" god I hate that .

  • my favorite Who album. thanks for uploading this timeless classic years before its time.

  • Sure, no problem. This series will be pretty short, seeing as most tracks off this album are small and that there are (I think) 10 or 11 tracks. I want this to be one of the most creative ones I have done yet, and I will add a bit more information in the 'description' part. 'Who's Next' is what's next for my series! lol
