@tosherification Yeah, as a history buff I shoulda known better. This extremely detailed model is just the cat's meow. And I'm glad U enjoyed it. Happy Holidays to you also and many thanks.
Lovely car but you are incorrect. This was the car of Emperor Hirohito of Japan. Pu Yi's car was a Cadillac similar in color. The chrysanthemum was the sympol of the Japanese Emperors, not the Chinese. Sorry.
@tosherification You are correct! As a history buff I should have known better. Description on box was incorrect & never gave another thought. Chrysanthemum was the symble of Japanese Emporerors. Just yesterday on the Military Channel I saw old footage of Emp. Hiro riding in his car and it was exactly like this. I thought, man that looks like my model. duh! Thanks for pointing this mistake.
@cheddyrod It is Xonex. Thats the trouble with M and N being next to each other on the keyboard. I guess the example in Stuttgart may have been the basis for producing this model. I'm lucky I finally acquired this after passing it up the first time I saw it. Thanks for enjoying this model.
@mrcaymanislands1 One of my best diecast models for sure. Glad you enjoyed it. And to think that I passed this up the first time I saw it and then over a year later, there it was waiting for me!
No problem--It is nice to meet someone as fascinated by old limos as I am! Merry Christmas and a very Happy 2012!

Very nice model. Is the manufacturer Xomex or Xonex? The 1:1 scale is in the Mercedes in Stuttgart.
