Pegasus would be an interesting launch platform for a single-warhead ICBM....you'd have mobile basing b/c you could just fly them around between different airfields.

It could also be used for ASAT functions.

@jpowell180 , yes, these are interesting proposals, above all the ASAT role! Pegasus could be attached to an F-15, or an F-18 E/F, and NATO would have an economical weapons against orbiting rogue satellites
