@Campante10 Just because your computer couldn't play it doesn't mean it sucked. Maybe you should actually try playing the game, it wasn't nearly as good as the second one, sure, but it's the best RTS to come out since then.

the music isnt copied to your harddisk, it remains on the CD. insert the CD and open its folder, then you can copie the music.

It's CD audio, you can play it using Windows Media Player etc and rip it if you want it on your hard drive.

could anybody tell me the exact name of the file in the AoE folder that contains all those tracks? the standard game music file.

You should be able to get all the music by just inserting the game disc and opening a music player (i.e. iTunes). It'll read just like a music CD.
