Should show the Stryker, although not a tank its probably going to be used alot more in America's future conflicts b/c of its ability to patrol and maintain a better maintenance operational readiness (OR) rate. GHOST no sense in bein rude to our aussie friend. Knew some aussie Soldiers in Iraq and they were tough and competent.

I know when i was at Camp Victory/ Liberty the stryker units had a 85-90% OR rate & that was allot better than my Abrams & even better than my Bradleys. The vehicle works, that's the key criteria, and on a hell of a lot less gas than the Abrams which has 4 gas tanks totalling @ 504.7 gallons. Less fuel & less maintenance requirements, don't think its a failure.

Yeah basically modified the Canadian built LAV 25 that was already used by the marine corps. Don't know y they didn't go with the Stingray, it has 3 levels of add on armor that can make it almost as tough as the Abrams. Or they could have up armored and up guned the M113 under the "Gavin" concept. Weapons procurement is much more about papering congressional districts with pork barrel contracts rather than military need unfortunately.

The Serbian Ukaranian Chinese Polish and Russian tanks are all offensive tanks Everybody else likes Defense Especially the Merkava which has the engine in front and an escape hatch in back. I think attacking is better tho xP

The Twardy is a highly upgraded T-72 with explosive reactive armor, modern fire control systems, and a more powerful engine. But in the end it is still a T-72, which as everyone knows, is very Russian.

Thanks for adding PT-91 "Twardy". Even if its not the best tank, it modernized version constructed for Malaysia (PT-91M "Pendekar") is quite good.
