Really like the sing but the vocals need some refinement. Love the wailly-ness but a few spot seemed to come out a little more.... "intense" then they were maybe meant. Totally fixable and maybe he jsut wasn't warmed up or had some throat issues. Over all though LOVED IT and the lyrics. Gonna buy the album next chance I get. =)

No offense, I really like this band 4 this "talk show guy" said never heard any band that louder? Look up "A Place to Bury Strangers". Then tell me that these 2 bands should meet & blow tha house down!!!!
I heard this on the radio and it filled me with joy. The whole thing just works for me. Not sure why. Can see why some wouldn't, but man, I can't get enough. Bought the album and keep playing over and over. Made my day, Cheers.
the amount of hate thrown at these guys in Jian's mail/twitter was irritating, I'm with you, I was a little unsure at first, but I keep coming back, and I think they are awesome, facelove is such a good song.

I did think it was funny Jian referred to his playing style as shred... I'm not sure Jian is familiar with shred, but I'd be more than happy to send him a Paul Gilbert record for reference.
Well done qtv- for promoting new talent. I loved it! The vocals, the guitar were intensely raw with the drummer there to keepi it together. Yeah kick ass!
As a sidebar,I had the same bass pedals in '81and it had the same noisy phasey swooshing static and as an added bonus, it was a real bitch to keep in tune too,
@MurderedSelf I actually enjoyed the heavily affected guitars...sure it is standard indie, but I dig it. The vocals are so awful that they ruin the entire song, though.
