  • I have to agree with the Germans on this one. Even though I am a huge Spyro fan I have to say that Activision totally defaced what was know as Spyro. And before I get hate mail that says I don't know jack $hit about games I do realize that Activision is aiming for a younger audience. Also there is the fact that I know more about games than anyone outside the game industry(Fact). What gets me the most is that they decided to annihilate the fourth wall and further suck our youth into delusion.

  • LOL! xD

  • I totally agree with Hitler (and believe me when I say that I wish I didn't), but EVERYTHING in Skylander's: Spyro's Adventure LOOKS LIKE SHIT EVEN IN THE TRAILERS! D:<

  • *sigh* i ment i loved the playstation 1 games

  • hello everybody, the last spyro game i played was something with dragonflies and finding them, and i hated that game from the playstation (1) games. have they improved any at all?

  • @TheSonicman15 Yes, they've improved a LOT since then. First they brought out A Hero's Tail which was excellent although the voice acting was pretty annoying. Then they made The Legend of Spyro trilogy which was a series re-vamp. That had brilliant gameplay, more sophisticated combat, a juicy storyline and brilliant voice acting (i mean they had Gary Oldman in it)

  • @SKnight8046

You're missing the awesome soundtrack... :D

  • @MrRallemulle Oh yes, the game has absolutely wonderful soundtrack too. :)

  • @SKnight8046

    Aye :3

  • @MrRallemulle well, with Hans Zimmer doing Skylanders soundtrack, I actually have high hopes

  • @SKnight8046

He is a great composer! :D

  • @MrRallemulle yeah, i'd be shocked if i just heard He's a Pirate from Pirates of the Carribean in it as Trigger Happy's theme song haha. tbh Spyro's always had good music, Spyro 3 had great music as of course did TLoS

  • PS: I TOTALLY agree at the end. Different doesn't mean bad. I'm open to Skylanders, I loved TLOS, I loved the recent Crash Bandicoot games (Titans and Mind Over Mutant), the Sonic the Hedgehog games (SA1 to Black Knight) and am looking forward to the new Ratchet & Clank game called All 4 One. They're all different and all hated by hundreds. It's stupid. Different isn't bad. Without change, we'd only play rehashes. Thumbs up for that and the This Machine music from Sonic Heroes.

  • @vgman94

Hey again vgman! Long time no see (ehrem, write) :P

yeah, i agree as much as possible is possible. Change can both turn into good and bad. But without change , it will just be plain boring.

  • @MrRallemulle Agreed. Sometimes even bad change (like Rayman Raving Rabbids after the 2nd Rabbids game) is preferable to no change at all. Although I would disagree about that with Rayman, oddly enough.

  • @vgman94 I agree, they went a bit too far with the Rabbids. First time I was okay with it, second too but after it started to get old. I liked that they actually tried an Adventure game(Rabbids Go Home)but since Rayman had absolutely nothing to do in it, they became their own series. I would have preferred a 4th LoS over Skylanders but if it's just for one spin-off, I'm okay. Hating a game for being different is stupid, that's why I judge the games for what they are, not what the series WAS.

  • @MegaGlassguy I agree as well (LOL. The chain of comments is "Agreed", "I agree" and "I agree as well." XD). The Rabbids are fine as they're own series, but Rayman needs to be free from the Rabbids. Apparently, Activision says they want to use different characters in the Skylanders series. They might use Crash as well. As long as it's a spin-off, I'm happy. I just want a Titans/Mutant and TLOS game in the future.

  • @vgman94 Same here, as long as it doesn't take the spotlight as the main series, I can't complain much. Really hope to see a new LoS and Titans game.

  • @MegaGlassguy I feel that for a Titans sequel, Crash needs more focus. The Titans need improvement too, but Crash should have better gameplay. TLOS just needs a few new ideas and refining for it's formula. Dawn of the Dragon was amazing. I Hope to see a sequel to those games too. Unique games shouldn't die.

  • @vgman94 I agree, the Titans could have better use in places only they could go(like your idea of a flying level with Battler when we talked on that video a while ago)but they should mostly try to improve Crash. I think he'd need more moves and the return of some old ones too. For LoS, it'd only need some new ideas. For Rayman, well I'll have to play Origins before saying anything.

  • Yeah, I've had that idea for the Battler for a long time now. The sliding, bazooka and maybe the bellyflop would be good to return to. Agreed on Origins. We'll have to see more of it before judging. I had an idea for LOS where you could combine some elements. Like the Shadow Fire and normal Fire fused would mind control larger enemies and make them stronger so they'd defeat other enemies more easily until they'd return to normal and weaken. Fire+Wind would make a larger fire. What do you think?

  • @vgman94 I'd say that's brilliant, that would make co-op even more interesting!

  • @MegaGlassguy True. I even thought of some ideas for the Fury to have some co-op elements. Remember the QTE where Cynder and Spyro grab each other and make a ball drop on Malefor? That could be used in normal gameplay. The Fury charges could be a great addition to the Fury power as well. There's a lot of ideas left. More than I can imagine, I think.

  • @vgman94 lol there's just so many ideas that people can think of xD

  • @MegaGlassguy True. Imagination can do so many things.

  • @vgman94 Yeah, idiots say that companies should hire people who ''knows why games used to be good'' but frankly,it's better to hire someone with imagination, who's able to progress through the games while keeping what makes the series unique. Some things are more obvious to think of(ex:Crash needing more moves),and that's where the developer who can look beyond surprise us,because we don't think the same ideas! On the other hand,a retro developer would make all his games the same,no surprise.

  • @MegaGlassguy Exactly. Games need to be new and innovative to surprise gamers with something new. Sadly, surprises aren't something fanboys take well, and cry about it at every opportunity. Luckily there are some smart gamers that know how developers feel and want new things instead of simply remakes.

  • @MegaGlassguy I love the video though, there's a lot of actual good points. At least unlike the f*cking Sonic fanboys, you know what you want. Don't really understand what you meant by 1-dimensionnal but it is still a great video.

  • @MegaGlassguy Note:talking to SKnight for my second comment

  • @MegaGlassguy thank you :)

When I said that Sonic chacrters are "one-dimensional" i meant that they have no development throughout the course of the series (Sonic's ALWAYS arrogant, Big's always dumb) and it gets kinda annoying. Some of the chacrters do have good development like Shadow, Silver and of course Gamma.

  • The first part was f**king hilarious. It was so true. Although I am open to Skylanders a little. But I felt like Hitler very much when I found out they didn't use TLOS. I wanted to see improved gameplay and more of the story and world. Hopefully this will just be one spin-off. Still, Skylanders doesn't look like a bad game. BTW, Traud's comments about Skylanders were hilarious, especially "I can't help it, I'm a Nazi." XD
