What a class act Larry is! AND his love for the Lord Jesus Christ is evident. Great job speaking at the Men's Golf Fellowship breakfast at Pelican Bay CC in Naples, FL.
Thank you Tour Chaplain Tom Randall for bringing him!
What? Norman has skill and Mize was lucky? Please! Mize has skill too, just like all those other hundreds of players on the tour. Good for you Larry Mize. All that hard work paid off. Practice makes Perfect and a Green Jacket.
Greatest fluke? Let's see, how about Bob Tways bunker shot in the 86 PGA, Robert Gamez at Bayhill holinh out from 175 on final hole to beat him by one, David Frost holing out on final hole with long sand shot(can't remember tournament)I know I'm missing one. Anyways, he gave alot of tournaments away but he certainly had a more than normal amount of last hole heroics to beat him.Glad to see him in one more Masters....don't count him out!
I don't know about the 'sexual lust' thing. But really, the blonde flowing mane, the great fashion, the power, the short game...and add the inevitable brain explosion...what was there not to love about the great man?

People forget Seve Ballesteros was also in the playoff and bogeyed #10 in the playoff-eliminated. It was David vs. 2 Goliaths.

Somepeople apparently have a sexual lust for Greg Norman
deltapunk21 3 years ago
WTF are you talking about?
What has sexual lust got to do with the fact that Norman was robbed by the greatest fluke shot of all time?
What a croc

Sudden death playoff for the biggest tournament in golf, it ranks above the all others.
Tway's shot, well Norman had a 4 shot lead with 8 to play and shot 40 on the back nine, that shot shouldn't have made a difference, unfortunately.

Injustice? It was one of the greatest moments in the history of the sport. Pure magic.

@mymentor You view it as pure magic, I view it as pure arse. I can't believe I've been dragged back here after three years. Get over it - I haven't.

Of course I view it as magic. Greatest shot in the history of tournament golf.
