  • Sorry...but are green berets rangers

  • nothing i love more then seeing my fellow Airmen running with the Rangers, hooah. Now if we can just get AFPC to allow us to wear the tabs we'll be in good shape

  • USA has best and strongest military in the world, but Israel comes close

  • 8:42 ohhhhhhhh...poor guy

  • id love to see those instructors miserably fail at the course

  • so you can join ranger school if you have bad eyesight and where glasses cuz i wear glasses and i want to join the rangers

  • @pichichi5000 yes you can. as long as you aren't incredibly blind.

  • this is my future i have always wanted to be a UNITED STATES RANGER!!!!

  • @utnone1 you do understand going to ranger school does not make you part of the 75th ranger regiment right.? going to ranger school does not mean becoming an army ranger

  • Bah, Marines Recon is tougher.

  • And as for the guys who killed binladen, it was seals, also there were green berets, and I want to say rangers also

  • If your argueing about which is the worst, why don't you just do em all? Sure is my goal

  • @jjkillr hate to burst your infantry mos bud, but its closed. You can not go infantry until october 1st. Sorry

  • i have 1 cousin in the SEALs and another uncle or cousin that is a ranger

  • 1 Dislike!?!?! Fucking communist

  • i know i wont survive this cut...

  • 1 person is gay

  • @Torres71711 More like i Marine.

  • Aussie SASR do this shit after 5 days without sleep, or food.

  • @blinky123abc Thats the Aussie Special Forces Group. This is a special operations group, NOT Special Forces. You want to look them up. Their Called Greenies. More Commonly known as "Green Berets".

  • I have a question: someone told me foreign soldiers (in my case Royal Netherlands Army) were allowed to attend ranger school. does anybody know wether that's true?

  • @Houselistener64 Went i was in we have people from my unit that attended Ranger School and they inform me that there are foreign national that was there also, but what country they from i didn't ask but yes there were none U.S military personnel that attend Ranger school.

  • wipeout is harder

  • once a marine always a marine

  • Its just lik basic training I hear

  • LIke if ur watching this cuz u saw phillip defranco! vlog

  • how long does it take to go to boot camp from inlistment

  • this is a contradiction to the special forces who if they have to will leave the weaker members behind whereas these guys say they don't

  • @Mr2Badboybrown you do realize that your the top 1% if your in a ranger unit...obviously you don't have the weaker members of the Army there

  • USAF Pararescue. That is all

  • @NathanEG217 I highly doubt that a ranger would say that... Either you're lying or he has somehow been both a ranger and recon marine.

  • LESS THAN 1% of the army? holy shit

  • GET LOWER! GET LOWER! sounds like football practice.....shit

  • enlist APRIL. MOS infantry, going for the RANGERS. HOOOOAH.

  • 'go Army Army Strong ooohrah

  • I got a buddy thats a Ranger he said its no joke but Recon is twice as hard and their twice the bad asses

  • Comment removed

  • @NathanEG217 Sorry to be a dick but your friend is wrong to be a recon marine you have to go through ranger school and jump school army rangers and recon marines are the same thing. sorry but your buddy is a joke

  • Force Recon.

  • @CiprichJ OOOHRAH!!

  • Damn, I can't wait to join the Rangers. I'm good at Call of Duty so I should have no problem in earning the Ranger title. How do I join? I think I'll be a great asset.

  • @Ihateopp Are you good at or awesome at call of duty...?

  • @Ihateopp Take the et off of asset and your exactly right.

  • @Ihateopp unless your a fat ass...if you havn't noticed, you don't hav to be in terrific shape to be good at call of duty

  • @CaptJerky I was joking, calm down. I'm far from fat and I wouldn't join the army anyway. I already enlisted in the USMC.

  • @Ihateopp lol are you serious with this call of duty comment?

  • @casf120 hehe no. I just wanted to troll this army ranger video. I'm enlisted in the Marines, that's where the real call of duty pros go.

  • @Ihateopp thank you for you service and not to get corny but semper fi marine. im currently attending college and doing navy rotc. training for bud/s in 3 years

  • Cant wait!

  • after watching this I feel like a piece of shit next to my recruiter lol

  • lol if you people think this is bad you guys should see what cadets have to go through to be a SEAL

  • Comment removed

  • @icewizforlife yeah right, FACT:SEAL get three all you can eat meal a day and they get night and weekend off to rest during their six month long to become a SEAL.

  • @d8654474 Where did you hear that?

  • Comment removed

  • @d8654474 Well considering I am an OIF vet from the army I can tell you what they learn is much more than what infantry learns in boot or BCT. If seals was as easy as you possibly think it is they wouldn't have the high drop out rate like they do. Take SF selection for example, these guys also go through a hell week and some of the toughest guys I knew in the service couldn't pass it. SF selection is even harder because it is selection and passing doesn't mean acceptance.

  • @flatblackstrat i agree would you that it hard no doubt but i have a hard time buying that they have the toughest training in the world. i believe they are about the same difficulty to get in as Army Ranger (75th) difficulty in a difference way and of course once they finished bud they get more advance training but every elite does the same thing non-stop training.

  • Comment removed

  • @flatblackstrat one of reason i believe that high fail rate it because the quality of candidate that try out or the requirement just to try out. Majority no dis-respect to Navy but are graduate from Navy Boot (most would not pass pre-ranger either if they tried out ) and they don't have the assessment phase like Army Ranger or Green Beret. BTW i used to be in the Army also 327 inf reg. FT. Campbell KY.

  • @d8654474 another interesting point is that i have heard people stating being a SEAL for 20 years (retired) i haven't heard anyone spend 20 years in a Ranger Regiment, i could be wrong i just never heard of it. i would imagine their body (mainly knee) will be Fuck up over 10 years in.

  • @d8654474 you know your history

  • @d8654474 Good stuff man, I had to spend time at Knox while I was in, shitty post though. I can see what you are saying about training but all non selection and non BCT training is like that. You never got to go through AIT but AIT is like that as well. But I suppose if they are supposed to be elite you would think they would have 5 to 9 training and no weekends.

  • Respond to this video... all i'm saying is when they made a statement like it take 6 month training to become a SEAL is somewhat mis-leading. that like saying it take take 4 years to become a Ranger because if you with the 75th for 4 years you have to prove yourself constantly to stay in and training are also brutal. in their six month training they get more time off to rest, sleep and eat basically almost normal work hours. it difficult a big YES. most difficult i don't think so.

  • @d8654474 BUD/S is a 6 month gut check during which 8-5 is routine but there are many periods of time where it is NOT admin/routine, the most famous of course is hell week, but there are many other evolutions out on San Clemente island etc. After BUD/S comes CQT (advanced training at the Team) and a nonstop training regimen once in the teams which includes many more military schools. Rangers= conventional support for SOF missions, SOF= unconventional, bla bla - all are SERIOUS BUSINESS.

  • @d8654474 i have seen marathon running studs fail out of SEAL training. It wasn't the physical stuff, it was the mental chaos and dealing with constant disappointments and fear that wore them down and prompted them to say "I quit". I watched the sapper training videos where instructors are forcing students through it- you'll never see SEAL or SF instructors doing that- students are most welcome to quit or keep going- it's all up to them.

  • Comment removed

  • @d8654474 BUD/S grads do not get their trident. They have to pass 6 more months CQT after that then become a SEAL, and then enter pretty much constant platoon workups. Respect to all: Rangers/SOAR/SF and SWCC/SEALs, each doing their assigned missions better than anyone else can. If you aren't any of the above don't talk about who is better. They are all great.

  • @d8654474 your right about all that except one thing, they dont get the weekend off. its seven days a week. the only weekend off they get is right after hell week. there is a reason their motto is "the only easy day was yesterday"

  • @casf120 of course the BUD training is tough but so does trying to get in a Ranger Reg. if Ranger school were 6 month like bud then most would probably die or their body will be F-up permanently.

  • @casf120 i believe you wrong they do get weekend off, not sure every weekend but definitely not 7 day training for six month straight.

  • I'm thinking of being a Army Ranger.

  • @Psychocide best of luck to you

  • @lordoftheringsblows Thanks but one problem is I'm not the best swimmer

  • Isn't this show great?

  • weres part 2? haha

  • yea haha but still

  • all this aside...

i start basic on sept. 5th, 2011, and then work my way through the various schools before i get to take my shot at being one of these guys next spring, so wish me luck and send me your prayers, oh world of youtube!

  • I like all the people who aren't even in the military let alone the special forces having a "my dad can beat up your dad" contest in the comment block.

  • thats why i sed or other special forces DUMBASS yes i know the navy seals got bin laden who doesnt fucken know that.

  • This is NOT 720p HD quality! this is like 360p!

  • hey how do get into ranger school? do you need a certain GT score or reccomendations your higher-ups?

  • @abh729

Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien.

Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.

    Be 18 or older.

Be able to pass the Army Physical Fitness Test (AFPT).

Be eligible for a Secret Level Security Clearance.

Score 50 or better on the ASVAB AFQT and have a GT (General Technical) score of 110 or higher.

    thats all the qualifacations

  • If I was asked, 'Are you a Ranger? A Green Beret? A marine? A S.A.S?, I would look that person in the eye and reply, 'I'm A Soldier!" Only 'common' soldiers fight and win wars.

  • @goldenscales they all help win the war

  • @crazybj003 Lol. I'd actually forgot about this comment. Good on you, sport. Take care :-)

  • @goldenscales if it wasnt for rangers or green berets or other special forces we wouldnt be where were at in the war. haha how do you think we cought bin laden

  • @crazybj003 ur a dumb ass....

    navy seals got bin laden

jesus get ur info right u sound like a kid that just throws shit out of nowhere

  • @smellmyclock He said "other special forces" dumbass. Technically, he should have said other special operations forces, but still. You are just being a douchebag so stfu and die or something.

  • @armyaviationproud dude i wouldnt call him a dumb ass if he mentioned rangers and green berets,

and + green beret are no longer a part of the navy, its canceled, it says so in surviving teh cut

  • @smellmyclock dude the green berets are and have always been us army not navy

  • @smellmyclock LOL no.

and the 1ST-SFOD-D was canceled? NIGGA PLEASE. Aint canceled SHIT cept the show(Delta isnt gonna let discovery film their training, nor their selection process)

  • @smellmyclock green berets were never a part of the navy, get your facts straight

  • @crazybj003 Oh Big Woop Navy Seals Got Bin Laden He was old as Dirt it not like they were trying to kill him before dude can barly walk all they had to do was find him it was not much of a fight

  • @goldenscales Marines aren't soldiers; they're Marines.

  • @TheLogan1156 And the difference is? If they aren't soldiers, then they must be mercenaries. Or thugs in uniform. Make your mind up, civilian.

  • @goldenscales Marines are Marines, not soldiers.

  • @tomrulz444 Uh huh. That's like saying Republicans or Democrats are not politicians.

  • @goldenscales Soldier is a term that refers to those who serve in the Army (in the US, at least). Those who serve in the Marine Corps are Marines. Calling them "Soldiers" intentionally is considered an insult. Just like those who serve in the Navy are Sailors and those who serve in the Air Force are Airmen. Yes, it might be annoying to make the difference, but it's also a sign of respect.

  • @goldenscales By the way, I wasn't trying to start a fight, or anything. It's just that my father is a Marine and I will become a Marine later this year, so it means a lot to me.

  • @TheLogan1156 Sweet as, guy. We all want to be 'special' in our own way, as a means of standing out from the crowd. I was not arguing or belittling your point of view, just expressing an opinion. I'm happy you want to follow someone you are obviously proud of, and I salute you for that. Semper Fi, dude. Make us proud, brother, makes us proud!

  • @goldenscales Thanks, man. Like I said, I wasn't trying to be a dick, or anything. Thank you for not being one either. :)

  • My son's career tree is going this way.He leaves in January.Spending time with him training beforehand..its been fun,bonding...So proud of him.

Ive trained with Rangers,Deltas in my career...but Ive never had the honor of being one. Im praying for him to achieve what he wants...He wants this bad.Worse than anything he has ever wanted..Gotta support him. Thanks for this video! Will show it to him..because its one thing to tell him about what Ive seen and done, another for him to see THIS

  • how the army ranger work??? and the different between army ranger and marine corp :|

  • @ohmamashit rangers a special infantry marine corps is a branch under the navy which is a primarly infantry based branch

  • Are girls allowed??? Or is there like a different school for females???

  • @awesomegirl205 No girls allowed

  • @awesomegirl205 girls can go to Sapper school

  • dude SFC Sword used to be my squad leader!!!!!!! whats up man

  • what are some of the main difference's in the ranger training/operations and the green beret training/operation's?

  • Are the Delta Force and Green Berets/Rangers two separate organizations or the same? Sorry for being ignorant?

  • @Mojo1982 Yes they are separate organizations. All of them are separate. The simplest way to describe it, would be like this: Delta = C.T. and Special Operations, Green Berets = Force Multipliers and Special Operations and Rangers = Light Infantry and Special Operations.

They all have individual recruitment processes; however Delta Force generally only recruits its operatives from either Green Berets or Rangers.
