Jack Lemmon was fantastic. He sure could act, he could do comedy, drama, action, anything. It also shows that he was a wonderful human being, a lovely person. I know people say this all the time, but I do mean it, I'm thirteen and he's absolutely one of my favourite actors. Some Like It Hot, The Apartment, The Odd Couple, Grumpy Old Man, The China Syndrome, those are the real movies.

I love Jack Lemmon. At the age of 8 my two favorite films were Some Like It Hot and The Apartment... guess what? I'm now 18, and they still are my two favorites :)

Thank you SO much for posting this. I always wonder about their backgrounds and this man was/is one of my favorites. I wish I could have half of his energy. I started out watching his comedies and I remember the first drama I saw him in with Shirly McClaine and I was kind of shocked. His acting was very heart wrenching. My favorite movie of his was The China Symdrome. I almost couldn't watch it and it gave me a fear of nuclear overload to this day. He's given me so much joy. An example.
