Add hot water(not cool water), the water almost immerge the pork, add green chinese onion, ginger, aniseed(if you have it), mix them, wait for the soup boil, add proper salt and 2 spoons of sugar, turn the fire lower to keep the soup boil.

4.OK, wait the soup vaporized, but you can not fully vaporize the soup, because more fat will excude from pork.
You should keep watching on it and churn to prevent from burnt, because pork may exude fat to make the soy and sugar burnt.
