I loved this walk. I did it while on vacation at christmas time 1999, at night. What a incredible view of the city before 9/11. Every New Yorker should do it.

Nice video. I have been in Manhattan several times and never have walked the Brooklyn bridge. Just didn't find any sense to walk it but thanks I will try next time.

I took this walk two times last year (2010), and I intend to do it many more times now that I actually live in New York. Anybody who lives in New York and has a free day should go to the Brooklyn Bridge and do at least some of what Rob did in this video.

The Brooklyn Bridge is my favorite cultural icon of all time. I hope to do what Rob did, just as he says to.

I've been halfway across the bridge twice in my lifetime, at ages eight and eleven. It was during the first time out that I took my first-ever 35 mm photograph, of my parents, brother and sister. Haven't made it all the way across (as of 7/5/09), but I intend to.

One of the greatest things to do in NY is to walk over the Brooklyn Bridge & then hitting the Promenade.

Thanks for the video. My husband and I were in NEW YORK last August visiting my mother in Brooklyn. It was awesome!!!!! I lived in NY til I was 18 and never knew that you can walk over. We did and loved it!!! Really enjoyed it and this video made me homesick.

Subway A,C to Hight Street on the Brooklyn side. Subway J,M,Z to Chambers Street or 4,5,6 to Brooklyn City Hall on the Manhattan side
