Un-Boxing my new Blu Ray Player in HD: Panasonic DMP-BD35

ahhh the panasonic DMP BD-35 what a nice BD player. The best thing about this player is that it has an SD memory card slot for BD-live download functionality. Not like other players where you need to have a USB memory stick that needs to be connected for BD-live downloads. Panasonic really makes good quality products.

I also like samsung. My current stand alone BD player is the 3D BD player from samsung model BD-C6900 excellent BD player...3D is the future folks...

Blu-ray is best at the mounment. But....Give it five years and Blu-Ray will be over taken by something else. Besides I still own a HD-DVD player along with my Blu-Ray. Since Blu-Ray is still lacking in comparison to number of producers making their DVD's Blu-Ray. But it is growing so probly remove the HD soon.

@red244 DD (digital download) is already squeezing through the market. In the next 5 years, we'll probably see a standalone hard drive player with maybe just a disk slot hidden on the side to rip your disk-based libraries.

Wow brings back memories when i had my DMP BD35. Well i sold it and with the money i bought the PS3 slim. All blu ray players that are out now are not 3D compatible. All ps3 models will be 3D compatible via firmware so.....buy a PS3 if you want a blu ray player. PS3 is the BEST blu ray player out there !!!

stand alone blu-ray players are way better than the ps3. ive seen the ps3 performance and thought it was ok but nothing special.

Nope that's the DMP BD 35. The same stand alone Blu Ray player that i have. the dmp bd 60 and 80 are the newer versions. The BD 35 is discontinued right now but you are able to get it from retailers. The SD card slot for bd-live content is just brilliant. its nice and hidden behind a small door. Most blu ray players have either a external usb port for bd live content. U need to have a usb memory stick connected at all times which is not convenient. 32 gig SD memory can be used on the bd 35...

The best blu ray players on the market are sony playstation 3 and some samsung players. But the things that are really inportand that you to look for on blu ray players is it needs to have at least 1 gb of free space on the machine to savr the bd live content and it should have wii fi built in because it's handy to have

I think the panasonic handles motion a bit better, and sound quality is a tad better, but that is the only better points!

I just bought this stand alone BLU RAY player to watch blu ray and standard DVD movies. I already have a PS3 but i don't wanna burn out my PS3 blu laser diode. I'm just going to use my ps3 for games and the panasonic dmp bd35 for movies!!! It's a very good player definitely worth the money.

Some of this stuff I un-box is not all for me, also some of these I have filmed about month a go, for example, those headphones were not for me and when I filmed me un-boxing my hard drive, i filmed that about a month before uploading, I wouldn't say I am poor but certainly not rich, thanks.

Hi, price is $250-300, the performance is great, handles motion a little better than the PS3, the sound is fantastic, it decodes all major formats, the only thing that isn't to good is the DVD upscaling, I already have a ps3 and I think the quality on this is just slightly better, thanks.
