I think you are being too apologetic here. You have the right to be in any job you want and can do. Believe that, and put it into your posture and your words. Of course, some people say you can't do TV because you're fat. Twenty-five years ago, bigots said black people couldn't do news because black people aren't reliable or intellectual or whatever. That aspect of how they look describe choices they are making in their everyday life. My attractive, successful children will probably never have to bring home anyone fat, and the way they have been raised to be healthy active- I doubt they wlll ever feel the need to. You'd be surprised that weight doesn't really reflect properly the "choices" you make. Despite eating nutritiously or exercising regularly, every person has a natural weight range that is determined by heredity and the body fights to stay within a person's natural weight range.

Which means that being fat has to do with genes, and not necessarily to do with lifestyle. The role that lifestyle plays is SMALL compared to genes, and heredity.

e.g., if YOU'RE a fat couch potato because you blame your parents for it and can't take responsibility for YOUR life, then your children will be that too. You don't want your children to be fat couch potatoes, do you?

Attractiveness is a LEARNED concept and is UNIQUE to each individual. There are plenty of people that find us fatties attractive. So you don't share that view, Fine. But just because you don't think we are, doesn't mean that someone else doesn't! we have family friends and (oh my god) PARTNERS who find us attractive.
