Its nice to think about saving whales is it not... but is it really worth the effort. Gives a nice feeling maybe. But really...what do they really contribute to anything?

I am a humanist and I strongly believe in the helping of my fellow man. Saving a big fish just to look at in Sea world seems a waste of time and effort.

It's worth the effort when the ocean's ecosystem is disrupted and begins to directly affect one of our major food sources and implement the concentration of oxygen in our air. Affecting anything in the ocean will eventually affect the land above.
