I was searching for another song and I clicked on this one only to hear a very small portion of the lead singer. About two weeks later I clicked on it again and listened to the whole song and I couldn't stop listening to it. This is a very powerful and soothing song. The words are so beautiful, I love Mississippi Mass Choir.
@ultimateprego. This is one of my favorite MIss Mass Choirs songs. I love this song, we sing this song in our church. Right now I going through and I listen to this song and I'm still thankful & grateful for all that I am going through. These songs by MIss Mass are truly a blessing to me doing these times. To God be the glory!
I Want to THANK YOU JESUS for your salvation, mercy and Grace. This song reminds me of how blessed I'am to have you in my life. I love you Lord!!!!!!!!
I love gospel music, I love being saved...this is my ringtone and there is no comparison to Ms Barbara's anointing...this song sums up any and all that we may want to or need to THANK GOD for....THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this choir is amazing, I have been listening to them since I was a kid. I had never heard this song, now I cant stop playing it!! I love it and the choir director does the darn thing!!!!!!!!!!
What a treasure it is to go back now after all these years and view the Mississippi Mass Choir of days gone by! I am truly blessed to be an original member of MMC. Thank youal for being our fans!~Jan Taylor Ellis
This is just pure unadulterated singing. I love the whole album. This song is a love song to God. The writer is not asking God for anything but just thanking Him for everything. To God be the Glory!!!!!!!!!! The song leader brings the words to life.
@tangadsangig as an African American let me say that not every Black person can sing and some people of other races/ethnicities also have "good sets of vocal chords". The soloist in this video not only can sing, she can SANG ("sang"-African American vernacular English for "sing really good".)
I love the MMC and this was one of my favorite songs. Barbara can sing, I mean really sing with minimal effort. She barely has to open her mouth, yet that big power sound comes out, I love it. For the people who asked if she was deceased... that was rude, the way you worded it was all wrong.
sing Barbara....i went to school with her son and she used to sing all the time at programs....saw Steve few weeks ago and he said she is doing fine living in ATL.....
This is my mother's 1st cousin. My grandmother(Dorothy Walker-Towner) and her mother(my Aunt Ruby Harper) are blood sisters...i havent seen this in so long! I was 8 yrs old when this came out(1989 i think). Wow! thanx 4 the post!
As much as I wondered who Lillian Lilly or Venora Brown look like whenever I hear them sing, I've always wondered what the female vocalist seen here would look like. And Finally, I do. She has a beautiful voice.
Mississippi Mass is one of the most ANIONTED, GIFTED choirs ever!!

This lady can sing. She has no strain and seems she is not trying at all. It just comes. Just beautiful.
