Yeeeeah!! So good to see someone playing this :D I love Bloodbowl and the games are really really good (and 100% true to the board game) so over all it's just a great experience and worth every penny.... (even if It has gone on sale 100 times and I paid full price >_<)
@Ferretfiend18 Just for the look on the other coach's face when you manage a TD. Oh, and to be able to field 15 players right off the bat. Who cares if a couple of them die, there are plenty more where they came from :-)
The board game rules are officially free for download nowadays.
You can get the dice and a pitch at good gaming stores across the world for cheap, the figures however... well they are made by Games-Workshop after all.
Kiko, you are a kamikaze artist when it comes to your halfling play. I love it, and may make a team for the express purpose of having a laugh with you!
Online halfling team playing for the lols? Kikoskia knows has the proper blood bowl spirit. Nuffle is pleased... but will still give everyone bad rolls.
Oh, that flying Halfing Blitz was fantasic! I cheered when that came together.
Also, in regards to the tabletop not being available anymore... well, I've got theory on that. Last year Games Workshop did a limited run Space Hulk. The other week they released Dreadfleet, a limited run re-jig of Man O' War. It would surprise me if in 12 months time we see a new Blood Bowl...
When you said "layeth the smack down" I had to go back and turn cc on and it posted this. "Schedule layer first backed down on the sky okay he's not going to make this." I couldn't stop laughing. excellent job mate
I never really liked the good guys in Warhammer; fantasy or 40k. I'm more of an Ork man, myself.
Why would you be a goody two-shoes boyscout looking after a corpse in a chair when you can be part of the biggest, loudest, shootiest, choppierest most dakkaest pub brawl the galaxy has ever seen?
I haven't played in ages... I kinda got bored of "BRUUUUUUUURP" TURNOVER, along with the enemy constantly shielding the ball holder and doing nothing for 5 turns. I did enjoy having an undead team though, got pretty good at using the werewolves.
@DomEReapeR Don't despair. As soon as you get the hang of blocking and tackle zones, you'll be fine. You will have learned to play BB. And after that, you can spend all the time you want to master it. But yeah, the computer game can be a bit daunting if you never played the board game.
@DomEReapeR: It has suprising depth, that is true. Train yourself in setting up two die blocks, only do one die blocks as a last resort. With a bit of practice, you'll find a good way to set up assists. And then you discover the Guard skill. :-) It helps if you have abit of a head for numbers, but that'll come in time. Just have fun with it!
Lmao.

Blood Bowl is very epic.

Does this game include the chance that Treemen might take root in the locker room and be unavailable for a game because of that?

@Crowley9 No, sadly.

@Crowley9 No they only take root on the field.
They can't move but can't be knocked over either I think.
