Chrysler nearly went bankrupt a couple years ago, Toyota NEVER had that problem.

Both properly maintained, both always had the proper fluid in them. And yes, the Ford used fluid, not gear oil. Idiot.

had toy truck once 96 or 97 toyota and i had over 200k on everyhing but the water pump. most american motors wear out faster because theyre high horse power high compression engines and ricers have about the same hp as a weedeater. the tranny went out in it from towing a 14ft john boat that i could move around myself at 11, POS no questions. To clear up the Mopar transmission myth, it wasn't actually the transmission that was weak. It was in fact a crappy check valve in the trans cooler that would fail causing the trans to over heat. The trans itself is damned near indestructible. I'm not certain of Toyota's being shitty for being plastic. Then again my 03 Silverado is plastic. Great thing is, plastic doesn't rust. The bad thing is if some one rear-ends me.....well I always wanted a short bed.

@cobraopts7 even i go for mopar , but i haven't had to replace any transmissions and my truck is over 200k miles and i got it with 85k miles and my car no slip ups i'm the 2nd owner on both but they do have one thing in common that has to be replaced on every chrysler jeep dodge vehicle which is the oil pump at 195k miles oil pump went on my truck at 145k on my car its going out, i own a dodge ram 1500 ext cab truck and a dodge intrepid , btw car came with 75k miles on it no transmission probs

had toy truck once 96 or 97 toyota and i had over 200k on everyhing but the water pump. most american motors wear out faster because theyre high horse power high compression engines and ricers have about the same hp as a weedeater. the tranny went out in it from towing a 14ft john boat that i could move around myself at 11, POS no questions. Now i have a 97 ram 1500 237k that my sis ran outta oil and brought it home sounding and smoking like a diesel but itll still out pull any ricer hotwheels

looks to me like the ram was in 4wd and the tundra was in 2wd. but idk. who cares if the ram can beat a tundra in a tug of war. ill bet the tundra in the video is still driving today, and the ram is in a scrap yard. ram 1500 are terrible trucks and very unreliable once you get to like 70k mile mark. my tundra has 150k miles and has never broken down. same with my older brothers. his has 175k on original water pump and timing belt. hmmmmmmm

To clear up the Mopar transmission myth, it wasn't actually the transmission that was weak. It was in fact a crappy check valve in the trans cooler that would fail causing the trans to over heat. The trans itself is damned near indestructible. I'm not certain of Toyota's being shitty for being plastic. Then again my 03 Silverado is plastic. Great thing is, plastic doesn't rust. The bad thing is if some one rear-ends me.....well I always wanted a short bed.
