The police would not allow us to be on the sidewalk outside of McCaskill's office. They told us all to go across the street. You can see the reflection of some of the protesters in the window.
Now no disrespect to the tea party, but you cause me stress. My heart can't handle the distractions you are making. I just want to be at home, quietly read a book, and just be in solitude. My wife and I are very quiet people.
And no I don't have mental health problems, I just prefer peace and quiet. If you want to protest, by all means I won't stop you, but please don't do it around us. Thank you for understanding.
@pluto4847 I dislike it too, but WE have to STOP THIS! Please understand, the passive attitude -exhibited by us all- has allowed the problems to "fester" for years and culminated in to the big problems we face now.
"All that is required for Evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." Sound familiar?
"Freedom isn't Free" sound familiar too?
We can't sit idly by while our Politicians fail to uphold their duties to We the People, growing a Government entity that ruins it for all of us.
@lemonrind "Freedom isn't Free" is only a mindless catchphrase or the punchline to a joke to mindless, spoiled, never had to work to earn or take care of anything in your life and think it all just comes to you for the asking -typical of people like you apparently are.
Really> Why do I sound bigoted? I just don't want anything to do with the tea party. That's not being racist or bigoted. I just respect my right to privacy.
I am very liberal left wing (I keep it to myself) so it annoys me when a Tea Party campaigner will stick annoying leaflets on my front lawn or through my mail box.
I even phoned the organiser that I did not want to be involved, and I still get leaflets.
I believe in OBAMACARE so just let me be. I'm not harming anybody else.
You might be anti Obamacare, but if I support Obamacare it is not the right of the Tea Party to tell me what I should support or what I should believe.
To honor liberty, we must all let each other uphold our own beliefs.
Liberty does not mean I should be harassed or challenged to a public debate.
So yes I support Social medicine, but I don't go around preaching it to everybody. I just keep it to myself, and live a peaceful and quiet existence.
@pluto4847 For someone that states over and over again that you want to be left alone you sure do talk a lot of crap. As for being anti obamacare, I am anti-obama the man has lies at every turn. He has spent double the money in three years that bush did in 8.
"All that it take for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." Sounds like you have been sitting around doing noting for too long.
white people are too FUCKIN PUSSY to defend themselves, you FUCKING CHICKEN SHIT BASTARDS! That is why Mexico is taking over YOUR country without a shot. ROFLMAO. I attend University of Texas, and am very active in the anti- tea party movement. If anyone wants to be an infiltrator, please message me, we have several hundred students as members. I am half Mexican and half white. Texas id 55% minority now. Enjoy your new BROWN masters, you republican racist pigs.
you may be surprise on low turn out this summer conservatism not many voted it wasnt a big big big win on the the conservatives is nothing more then a still republicans rehashing their old party ways and nothing wiill get down if they take control there is no such thing as patriots because they do not care anything but themselves not the rest of the world this situation with the tea party it is not scary but troubling new way to regain power !
@Kevin198898 you got this all right, but not troubling, not abusive. It's called free speech you idiot. Republicans WILL take back the power that the commie Obama had for just a tad little bit. Everything Obama did will GET REPEALED! The Tea Party candidates win every single election with the help of Sarah Palin. WE are a Nation of conservatives with Judea/Christian values that will take our country back from commies.
Great Video. Yes, we need to rise up again, to fight the corporate influence over our government, just like they did in 1773, when the British East India Company (which was heavily invested by the British government) tried to force it's cheap merchandice upon our economy and undermine our smaller businesses with an unfair tax while they paid nothing. We must tell the corporate elites and those in our government who have been paid for, by them, that we will not tolerate their crony capitalism!!
There is something wrong when the Senator that is being protested actually believes that she had to call the police instead of hear what they had to say.
They are guarding the donut shop from the senior citizens who are known for jamming the door with their walkers and scoot-a-rounds and flooding the donut clerk with coupons and requests for "senior discounts". A cop has to do what a cop has to do.
At least Officer Wesley Cheeks Jr. on another video is busy rewriting the consitution of the U.S. instead of guarding a donut shop.
Peolple are protesting now because obama has been the most divisive POTUS in history, and Americans can smell a rat. Their ppolicies don't pass the smell test. Communism and socialism do stink.
The reason people didnt stand up to Bush was because of the orchestrated 9/11 attacks. Americans were bamboozled and thought that everything Bush did was in their best interest to stop the "Terrorists". Americans were afraid of dying so whatever Bush did was magically the right thing. People can see right through Obama and his politics. Its impossible to disguise what he wants as anything but Socialist. Americans have an internal sensor for that stuff...
Americans do not have the balls to stand up to their government. If that was the case then Bush would not have been able to get away with shit, and guess what Obama wouldn't be able to et away with it either. I mean what the fuck how can the American people just sit on their fat asses while bills are passed without being read?
Notice how cops today, now called "law enforcement", don't do what's RIGHT, they FOLLOW ORDERS, whether illegal or not. Notice how one hand is clasping his belt. This is taught at the various police academies as a posture of "authority". Whenever I encounter cops, I do the same thing. I place on hand upon my belt, while gesturing authoritatively with the other.
How come when Liberals want to point out "if Republicans truly care", it is for measures taken for National Security and not their own Socialistic, enslaving agendas?
when republicans hold a 'tea party' to condemn quantanamo bay, the patriot act, or any of the hundreds of bush-admin atrocities, i'll believe that they actually care. Stepping up in favor of getting 100,000 dollar hospital stay bills somehow sounds like the stupidest first step towards activism, but heck i guess theyre finally standing up for something, eh?
We were protesting those things, where were you? We have been fighting this crap since 2006. We were yelling about Bush and none of the Democrats listened, now we yell about Obama, but the Republicans listen, the real question is, if the Republicans get their new man/woman in and he/she is again no different, will they stand with us? Or will it be the Democrats turn to protest with us? Right vs Left is a fraud on the American People along with our fake money system and personal Income tax.
Yeah, police to the rescue, they need to stop out protesters, after all, people that exercise their first amendment freedoms are terrorists. And remember folks, fascism isn't fascism when liberals do it.
Our congresspeople are getting death threats from all the bullies out there who are spurred on by millionaires like Beck and the insurance company hacks. If you don't think they should be nervous about unruly mobs hollering and screaming at them, and people carrying guns to demonstrations where the president is speaking, you are a bit out of touch. Beck has insurance and if they deny him, he can just pay the $10,000 for a simple operation, can you?
Over 98% of Americans have health care? Are you nuts? And as a small usinessperson, I can tell you that health care costs are killing us - up 10% every year -- and on top of that, new employees are denied coverage for "pre-existing" conditions. Health care is tied to your job for most of us, and losing your job means losing health insurance or paying $800 a month for Cobra, when you've lost your job. No one will have to give up their health insurance under any of the new bills. Reality.
no, mscoyote50, not reality. The bill does nothing to oversee if people are "happy with their insurance." Let's think, if i am already taxed heavily for a government program that i qualify for where i don't pay a dime to anyone.... hmmm. Why am I paying my employer to put me on a $350 plan for my family per month!? THat is reality. It's capitalism. No one is going to be able to compete with the government because premium payment is mandatory whether you are under the program or NOT!
you'll be paying a heck of a lot more than $350 per month if we don't get some reform. The insurance industry will have to stop paying such huge salaries to compete. Unless you make over $250,000, your taxes aren't going to go up. And if you are one of the 5% lucky enough to make > $250, you have money to pay more. Don't you get it - we pay more now for people who are uninsured using ER's. People are going bankrupt even when they have insurance. 60% of bankruptcies are because of medical.
whoa, What numbers are you using where does 250,000 dollars come in? Did you hear that from obama? He has said anywhere from $120,000- $250,000. And he will need to raise taxes to keep this program alive. It's too expensive to try and save 2% by punishing the rest
It'll be at least $600 per month under the Democrats' get their way. Preexisting conditions will cost much more than that. And The government in the House Bill would tax you 2.5% if you don't carry "acceptable" coverage, but they haven't said what that is yet.
Instead of boycotting the products of S C Johnson and P&G for canceling Glenn Beck advertising - 1. Purchasw one or more name brand COMPETITOR products 2. Write FOR GLENN BECK on the receipt 3. Put the receipt in an envelope and mail to: SC Johnson 1525 Howe Street Racine, Wisconsin 53403-5011 OR Procter & Gamble One Procter & Gamble Plaza Cincinnati, OH 45202
We need the Public Option and I hope Pelosi will hold her ground as she said she would because I think the President will sell it out to get a bipartisan bill done.
I guarantee the Rethugs NEVER compromised on any bill they wanted. They don't believe in bipartisanship. It's their way or the highway pure and simple.
Well, it's NOT the bush admin. It's the Obama admin. Let's get over trying to blame bush. And do not think that just because I don't like obama means that I like bush. I never said he was conservative. The only thing good he did was keep us safe. Remember that.
The American Economy is based on oil and spending, it used to be based on gold and commodities. We went to Afghanistan first and ended up fighting an illegal war in Iraq (United States, Article One, Section Eight of the Constitution says "Congress shall have power to ... declare War;", not the President). Took Saddam and his Ba'ath party out, Who Richard Helms, Former Director of the CIA,put in power in 1963 with a coup who over threw Qasim. Saddam was a puppet who got out of hand. Danger please
Might do your homework on this one too! Bush was given a declaration of war by the congress to go to war with Iraq. THe economy is always based on the most valuable thing. Now adays it is consumer confidence and oil. It used to be gold. Times change, so do standards. Even if the president does not have a declaration, the congress did pass an act which limited the president to like 60 days of military action against another state without a declaration of war. It has not been challenged in Sup crt
Section 122 Page 29 explains that health care will be rationed and that maximum out of pocket expenses in the government option and minimum required coverages for insurance companies will rise every year starting $5000 for singles and $10000 for families. This is higher than most private insurance companies. Section 123 A Health Benefits Advisory Committee will be formed to decide what coverages people would have to carry under the mandated coverage that the bill would require if passed.
No they wouldn't have. There wouldn't have been an attempt to pass it without any debate. But the way the Democrats did it, it woke up the people and now the Democrats are on the defensive crying that they intend to do the right thing. But if they were, why didn't they read the cap and trade bill before they voted on it? THey don't know what they're voting on. And even after this, some refuse to learn.
progress for the sake of progress is a very dangerous thing and is usually the wrong way to go in life and politics. You move to quickly, make it sloppy, and end up screwing millions of your constituents over with taxes and debt
Do you think that I'm not in agreement with you? I am. I oppose House Bill 3200. Here is just one reason. Section 113 Mandates a government audit of teh books of ALL EMPLOYERS that self-insure in order to "ensure that the law does not provide incentives for small and mid-size employers to self-insure" Pages 21 and 22 of the bill
Yes they would. Some of you in here have selective memory. The reason we are in such a mess is because of the past 8 years. You can not blame that on the man who just walked into office. If you got a job at a firm and they told you, you were to blame for the guy who just retirees, under achievement, his dirty file cabinet, and his stubbornness to listen to common sense, you would call it unfair.
What are you an idiot. No you cant just waltz into a state and say "hey I want a document to say I was born here". Its state record, you actually have to be born there to get a birth certificate there. You all are going to have to find another way if you want to get President Obama out of office.
Actually you can! It's called a certificate of live birth. I can go there right now and get a certificate of live birth from Hawaii. Its just a document that certifies "yup! You've been born alright!" I would have thought a state like Kentucky would have came up with that kind of document, but leave it to someone else to be less intelligent, i suppose. He has yet to show his ACTUAL Birth Certificate documented when he was BORN. So he has not proved that qualification.
In Hawaii you can! Anyone can! Its a statement of birth. It doesn't mean you were born in Hawaii. It doesn't mean you were born in the USA> Its a statement of birth. OF course thats pretty obvious if you're a living human being!
Certification of live birth is a birth certificate idiot. Have you been to Hawaii and tried what you are saying or are you just tallking. Remember Obama's mother was American and lived in Hawaii, she had never been to AFRICA. LOL you are funny, You really think you got something.
Read the constitution. Where does it say that the lresidentruns the country? It says something different. We had a do nothing congress. Wonder why congressional approval was below even bush's! Single digits at one time! You can't blame a president for all the problems all the time. The way I remember bush honestly tried to put oversight on fanniefreddie but barny fwank wouldn't have it. He's the one who said there's no problem. And they said bush lied! They all do!
I agree to disagree with a statement because I I dont belive it. You know everything, you are perfect huh, what you say is always right. I never said anyone was wrong are right I just dont agree and I am not obligated to. Oh and everyone is ignorant by definition so if want to insult me read a dictionary and try again
I don't know everything. that is why I research. I got my info from the same source you did, the Census Bureau. If you are trying to make valid arguments, then you need to say who's right and who's wrong. That's part of taking an argument. Go ahead and exit this discussion, because it is too obvious you are too incompetent to actually think logically and realistically let alone do research before you make a comment you will just run away from.
Dude what are you talking about. If I dont agree with you I just dont agree. Damn. So I am running away from your stupidity. Becuase if you feel that you won then I guess you did. So I will send you a medal and tell the President Obama so he will con gr adulate you. At the end of the day none of what we say on here matters, so I give up to your superior way of thinking. You are blind WAKE UP
Here is an idea. If you want facts. Read the Bill. Its obvious you haven't read it. The reason why you didn't hear the solutions the GOP put up is because the DNC wouldn't allow them to be on the table. BIG MISTAKE to not allow people to represented. The Truth slaps ya in the face sometimes. Kind of like WMD's did to many on the right. GET WITH IT!
So now the powerful GOP's voice is shut down by the Almighty DEMS, please. Excuses are bridges to nowhere, they are tools of incompetence. You win I dont feel like arguing anymore you are not going to change my mind and I am not going to change yours.
Then you say you have made you points and will stick by them. Saying "I agree to disagree" is a cowards way out. Now that you have explained that you are unwilling to listen to reason and facts, I am satisfied. Sheeple like you will keep following blindly the men and women who are about to destroy our country in the name of humanity. I dismiss you. Have a great day.
I am a coward because I dont agree with you LOL, well maybe we should meet so you can tell me that to my face, then we can have a real discussion, because I now you are not a coward. I live in Atlanta, let me know when you are coming. OH and OBAMA IS PRESIDENT and there is nothing you can or will do about it. LMAO!!!
I think Americans are doing something about - just today the pro-dem polls show Obam's approval rating has dropped lower - faster than any President in modern history.
You must be the only one in ATL that voted for him. Georgia went to McCain. Did you vote for him because he is black?
I wonder how Americans could have voted for the man given his past and what he was involved with before he was even in the senate. Or do you even know about all those things? Of course not.
Did you vote for McCain because he is white? What things, Like 1. Took partially responsibility for the Walter Reed controversy 2. Was criticized for comments about Chelsea Clinton in 1998 3. Was a member of the Keating Five 4. Cindy McCain has admitted to past drug addiction 5. Battled rumors that his adopted daughter Bridget McCain was the result of an affair 6. Denies reports of an inappropriate relationship with lobbyist Vicki Iseman of my fault that was McCain.LMAO!!!
When it comes right down to it you are no different than any other American. Meaning you will have the same health care the rest of us will have. Meaning you will be treated like the rest of us. Meaning you Will be told by the goverenment what treatment you Can and Can Not get. Meaning the gov. will have access to your bank account.
I voted for Obama because he is the best man for the job hands down and yes of course because he is black. In Americas 233 year history all the presidents have been white. So why not give him a chance? All it took was 400 years of slavery hundreds of hangings, 2 Kennedy assassinations, 1 King assassination and more tings I could name to get him there. And if you dont think racism is dead look at NoLibAlive's comments.
Racism isn't dead, but it isn't just white racists any more. There are blacks that are racist. THe least racist people in this country, as a race within itself is Latinos. But part of, if not much of it, was sparked by Obama when he used race baiting in his campaign. He ran as a black man. Why not run as an American?
Prejudice would be the right word to use racsim is a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule. Which means that there is no way that only 13% of the populaction can make laws and govern over the majority. He never used race as a platform his opposition did. If all the minorities voted for him he wouldnt have won.
As blacks are less than 13% of the population it seems odd to me that there would be a half black - half white President. After all, if people make a choice for President based on skin color, the current present would be white based on percentage of the population. The problem with your assertions are: He has no history in his family of being a slave. His family sold & owned slaves in Africa. Puts him on the other side. And color is not the issue anyway. Politics are.
Yeah right, color is always an issue in this country. Its always easy to say color is not the issue if you never had a issue with your color have you. I never said his familiy had a history of being slaves what I said was he is a decendent of people who were stolen to be slaves. Not all the families who stayed in Africa sold slaves. Which this country never apologized for. The first 43 Presidents where white, thats why this was a historical electiion.
It really isn't as big as you make it out to be. And it wasn't even near the issue it is now because Obama pulled the race card in many cases. Why not just run on the values that you have honestly, and I bet Obama wouldn't have won a majority of any race in this country.
Not a big Issue, the reason some of you have an issue with Obama is because he is multi-racial. Obama never once pulled the race card. He tried his best not to bring up race, but it became an issue because this country never dealt with its race issues.Have you forgoten about the rallies that McCain and Palin had where people where shouting racial slurs and now how some of wishing death on him. Bush was in office for 8 years and destroyed our economy, the constitution, and our country.
He pulled the race card very early and often in his campaign. The first that I can remember of the top of my head. "They will make you scared by saying that I don't look like any of the Presidents on money".
Of course he said that after race had already become an issue. He couldnt run on race because he would not have won. He cant help but to run as an American who happens to be black. The first thing you see when you see Obama is his color, he cant chage that. People voted against him and some not at all because of his race, how do you feel about that? Does that not show stupidity? He doesnt look like the pres. on our money, and that makes some people scarred.
He said that to make race an issue. He also spoke about civil rights for blacks, which I'm trying to figure out which ones they don't have. It isn't that they don't have them, its a problem with exercising them.
And yes, you're right, many Democrats voted against him because of his race.
Some Democrats and Republicans alike voted against him because of his color. You are right exercising them is the problem because you can not change peoples minds no matter how much you change the laws. In some places people dont want a change. At least I can debate you about this issue because some would not. They believe so strongly in the past that they cant see the future.
Do you have an issue with the color you have? Like Michael Jackson? What kind of statement is that anyway?
He is not a decendent of people who were stolen to be slaves. Are you stupid? His family was in the business of capturing and selling slaves. He has never apologized for it. Africa still has slavery. Blacks owning blacks. When are you going to do something about that? Or is that ok with you?
I am proud of my color and the accomplishment of people of color. This country would not be what it is today had it not been for black peolpe. Do you doubt that? In which country in Africa is there still slavery? Did you know most countries in Africa are just as advanced if not more than America? Have you ever been? Dont talk about things you dont know about. Why did you ignore my statement about Slavery? My great great grandfather was a slave and my family didnt profit off of his labor.
And he isn't a war criminal, unless you would also consider FDR a war criminal for instituting Martial Law in the United States for rounding up Japanese Americans.
By definition he is. Whether you want to believe it or not. What FDR did had nothing to do with war crimes, a president can declare Marshal Law when he see fit, thats the law.
More nonsense from an ignorant person. Get educated, try reading history. Where do you get your information? Oprah? Ha ha. Every post you display more of your lack of knowledge.
Executive Order 12919 read it. Defense Production Act of 1950, as amended (64 Stat. 798; 50 U.S.C. App. 2061, et seq.The Military Commissions Act of 2006 (MCA) read this Bush signed it into law on October 17, 2006. Everyone has a lack of knowledge even if some feel they know everything isnt that right gringott12?
No I don't doubt that. We would be better off for the most part.
Slavery in Africa today: Chad, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Sudan, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Ethiopia all have slavery in some amount today. For example, about 8% of the population of Niger are slaves. Sad but true. I have been in Africa more than once. Don't make me laugh. I seem to be much better informed than you Nonetomuch. My great grandfather was a serf and my family didn't profit off his labor. So what? Get informed.
This is the thing, I dont belivce you have been to Africa. Equatorial Guinea, Botswana, Gabon, Libya, Mauritius, South Africa, Angola, Tunisia, Algeria, Eygpt, Ghana, Kenya ,Nigeria, Cape Verde are all advanced countries in Africa. some parts of South Africa, Ghana, and Egypt are more advanced than the US . I never said it wasnt slavery. I asked you what country it was in. Most people on hear talk and dont know what they are talking about believe me I know about present day slavery in Africa.
I have been to Egypt more than once. It is third world. Period. Some parts of south Africa approached or equaled the level of the US and Europe, however, that has been in rapid decline since black takeover. Zimb. is a starving hellhole thanks to black rule. Should I go on? How is that slavery in Africa? You are ok with that, but not America. What a loser.
You have been to Egypt so that makes you an expert, get out of here with that. Try Ghana or actually go to South Africa before you talk about Africa. Most countries outside of Europe and North America are third world countries. You still dodged my statement about American slavery. Obama cant do anything about whats happening in Africa, he is not the president of any other country except America. Why didnt any president do anything about it. Slavery is wrong no matter were it is.
Nonetomuch: UNICEF estimates that 200,000 children are sold in slavery each year in central and west africa.
U.S. State Department estimates, up to 90,000 blacks are owned by North African Arabs, and often sold as property in a thriving slave trade for as little as $15 per human being.
What does his name have to do with anything yes his middle name is Hussien so what. Eric Robert Rudolph, terrorist, George Walker Bush, war criminal, terrorist and Fromer US President. Barack Hussein Obama, former State Senator, House Rep and Now US, President, what has he done to kill any one, nothing, did Katrina happen on his watch no,how about thecrash of the economy no, he is no cleaning up the mess of the criminal that came before him if you want to be mad be mad at George Walker Bush.
You think you're gaining any unity by referring to Bush as a "War Criminal"? You're not helping. You're hurting. If you hate Bush that much, then it shows that you're the one with the hate issue, not us.
I never once said I hate Bush, I dont know him to hate him. I disagree with his actions as president and by definition Anyvarious crimes, such as genocide or the mistreatment of prisoners of war, committed during a war and considered in violation of the conventions of warfare. By definiton he is a war criminal. Hate is a strong word that I dont use often and which I never used in here.
Strong words, war criminal. What do you base your opinion on? More nonsense like many countries in Africa are more advanced than the United States? You are a joke, sir.
I base mine on fact I dont know about you. George W. Bush's speech on September 6 amounted to a public confession to criminal violations of the 1996 War Crimes Act. He implicitly admitted authorizing disappearances, extrajudicial imprisonment, torture, transporting prisoners between countries and denying the International Committee of the Red Cross access to prisoners. These are all serious violations of the Geneva Conventions. You sir are a joke. Do your research.
Whatsup with you and name calling man, that shows a disrespect for others. It is an issue Pelossi said she would not deal with when she got in, which I dont agree with. The UN wants the american government to go after him some Democrats also want to go after him but most others are scared and feel that its to late I guess.I wouldnt know
I am not a Dem. He broke many laws its in black and white, period. No matter what you say.
How can I even waste time on reading anything recommended by an idiot who thinks Africa is more advanced than the USA. Sorry, troll someone else with your stupidity.
You people and name calling in here , that shows a lack of intelligence. First off I said some pars of Africa not the whole continent. Secondly I just realized you didnt vote so you have no say so on how the country is run. You have a problem with Obama because he is black, point blank, and you hide behind politics. There is nothing he has done to you personally to dislike him all you have done is listen to pundits and regurgitate what they are saying. Get your on voice and open your eyes.
Again with the name calling that further lets me know I am right because you couldnt give me a legitimate responses so you try and insult me. Mind reader LOL!! It will be alright after this health reform passes you will be able to afford therapy,LMAO!!
You know whats funny, you act as if this bill is going to destroy our country. We have bigger issues.Thought-Crime Legislation . The Patriot act which throws our constitution out the window thanks bush, also they are trying to pass a bill to make it mandatory for us to take this H1N1 vaccine, this has nothing to do with the Obama. These are the people we put in there to represent us in government, where is your outrage about that? You seem angry at me you need to be angry at both parties!!
There is plenty. Notice my nickname. ReformCongress. I selected that for a reason. I am angry at both parties, therefore, Reform Congress. Obama on the other hand is pushing a plan that only the Democrats participated in writing. HR 3218 and HR 3400 are two bills that the Democrats rejected. Read those too. You'll see they are infinitely better than the bill the Democrats wrote.
How do you plan on Reforming Congress? and Would it look more like America? Would you have multiple races and more women represented or would it look more of the same? I will be honest those two bills are not as serious as either one I put up. If the health care bill never passes then health care will stay the same, which is already a crime. But the three bills I put up are much more serious. They throw all your rights out the window, thats serious. Think about it.
Let me count the ways. McGaskill, we're going to actively campaign to defeat her in 2014 which is when she will be up for election again. Of course, we aren't just going after Democrats. We're also trying to defeat our own Republican incumbent in the House in my congressional district. We have meetings each and every week where at least 2 members of our group have filed papers to run for either the US Senate or the House. These are people like you and me.This isn't the only place either!
I feel you. Are you working on something for the present? I dont have a problem with what you are doing. I am glad to see that you are taking responsibility for your party. I dont have a problem with Rep. I do have a problem with anyone who believes that the people in there party are always right. More Americans need to do what you all are doing and stop just talking.
Yes. 912 Project. I'm not the main organizer but I joined the group in Ft. Worth. We've gotten some publicity on this thing and major news outlets are going to be covering it. Judge Andrew Napolitano is going to be speaking as the keynote speaker as well as some of these brand new candidates for the House of Representatives, US Senate, and the Governor of Texas, because we aren't too proud of Rick Perry.
I will be looking out. Its good to see Americans using there rights to make a difference in Washington instead of spewing hate on blogs. Even though we dont agree on the reform issue, I agree with you on making a change you believe in. So go Reform congress with all do respect!
I'm opposed to the proposals that the Democrats want to pass, and not entirely in support of a Federal Government solution on total health care reform, but there are parts the Federal Government can't help in solving the problem but they can't do it alone. It is going to have to go all the way down to State legislative and executive branches to get it done effectively without infringing on the rights of people in one state to satisfy those of another state. The reason the 10th amendment exists
You are right but, when Bush passed the Patriot Act because of the supposed terrorist acts, It put the government in total control. It has not been lifted yet. It puts the constitution as a whole to the side and lets the government decide what rights you have left if any. But yes you are right if in fact they dont find some of our freedom of speech offensive and put us on a watch list.
Deborah Medina is the woman we are putting up for Governor of Texas. Mr. Adams I believe is a guy in Florida that we are supporting, an African-American Conservative. I have to see if I can find his full name so you can check him out. I was quite impressed. There is one guy that is running for Rep that has been attending our meetings that I'm thinking about running against myself because I think he's just like the rest of the a-holes in DC.
Yeah do that, I feel that even though I am not a conservative or a republican I still would like to know who is vying for some of these positions. I vote for who I feel will do the best job.
You're right. You can continue to ignore reality. I think its a good thing that you volunteer. So do I in different ways. But you aren't better than anyone else. If you're spewing political crap to them while you're volunteering, you're doing them a disservice.
Ignore reality, seriously dude I can tell you dont know anyone less fortunate than yourself much less help them. You have never had to worry about money I can tell. So you can say whatever and never had any real experience. You dont have a clue what us real Americans go through. You sit at your computer and blog and complain about how Democrats are destroying our country. I never said I was better than anyone I wasnt raised like you.
Come walk the streets with me if you are not scared.
Because I disagree with you, I must be wealthy and must not do some of the same things you do because I must be a selfish wealthy successful person right? DAMN YOU'RE STUPID!
You think I am ignoring reality. I know there are people in need. After all this time, why hasn't the government been able to solve that through Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, etc? Why haven't they solved it? You see how they're playing you? They can say anything and it can sound real good, but the action is what matters. Without the action, its lip service. That is a reality also. If you can come up with a plan that is economically sound to help the needy let me know.
It's a conservative movement, not a GOP. Learn the difference. People are tired of the dems and repubs. They are all whores and sell out to the dollar. People are fucking tired of it all!
compromising only goes so far. You cant compromise your core beliefs and still say you have them. The Dems haven't compromised worth anything with the Republicans. Their type of bipartisanship is "Agree with me or get out of my way!" The republicans ARE for Reform. They have been trying to add amendments and also try to present different health care reform bills, but the Dems just throw it back at their faces. Whos not bipartisan in that picture? Hmmm?
I am not a Republican or a Democrat, but yes you do blame the Bush Regime. He was in office for eight years and our economy started to go down a year after the war started. I cant blame Obama for that. I cant say Bush kept us safe, I am not a conspiracy theorist but I dont believe the story they told us about 9/11 , the facts and evidence just doesnt add up. I believe Democrats and Republicans are the same, just different colors.
And you think that the 9/11 theory has more merit than the fact that Obama has not proven himself constitutionally qualified to be president? THere's more merit for the "birthers" based on a lack of evidence of his natural birth in America
For those that believe these people at the town hall meetings don't know what they're talking about, it has become very obvious they are very knowledgeable on the bill and that the Democrats do not want these details to get to the public. THere is much more than that.
Now you can stop with that. The State of Hawaii has put his birth certificate out twice. If he was not born in America believe me the Clinton's would have found that out a long time ago. Besides John McCain was born in Panama. John Sidney McCain III (born August 29, 1936). A 1948 Supreme Court decision declared that while Congress "controlled" the Canal Zone, the U.S. did not possess "sovereignty". At the end of the Day you still have to call him PRESIDENT OBAMA.
As far as blaming Obama, the stimulus he signed isn't working, It is this congress that tried to ram through cap and trade, and that is their fault, and then this health care plan, which he obviously isn't reading, he's still trying to sell it. And Obama himself said he wanted a Single Payer system, then he pretends he never said it. Barney Frank said the same thing less than a month ago. The Democrats aren't any better than the GOP that we already punished.
I don't know what state you're in, but in my state we have been using the stimulus money and have less unemployment and are getting better roads and mass transit. Besides, the republicans are the ones who reduced the stimulus money and put 40% of it into tax breaks -- the unemployed don't pay taxes, so that's not really stimulus.
if they have property they do. There's other tax you pay friend. And the stimulus did not help much on a national level. There was too much pork and waste to frivilous causes. THey could have given every american an equal share of that money and that would have been better stimulus. People could have paid debts and bought cars and other things. That would have helped the economy better.
The have not! They continually refuse to show his birth certificate. The actual one, not the one that just anyone can go get. Job. McCain was born on a military base in panama. Federal property. We do have soverignty over that. At the end of the say he is still chairman Obama.
buying a car or food is called capitalism my friend, the free market and competition. socialism is food rationing and few cars in russia and other countries. go back to history class, you flunked, nonetomuch, and you need to read the entire constitution over and over until you do comprehend it. you need to forget your sound bites and think for yourself
It is kind of amazing some "people" think health costs are like buying a car or any other commercial proposition (eg: all the insurance co-sponsored posts on Youtube by varying "people"). You can plan to buy a car or a house: it's your own responsibility and your money allocation--but you can't plan a medical affliction. Not the same. I simply note one anti-health plan person on Ytube had her two fave videos as a) a revolver shooting into a tank, and b) a clip of Milton F'man on "Greed". True!!
So the teabagging hoards are patriots? They didn't seem to mind having their phones wiretapped, and pissing a trillion dollars down a black hole in the desert for 8 years. I call that being a traitor. A teabagging, nutsack gargling traitor.
atleast that trillion dollars in the desert overthrew a dictator that commetted genicide against his own people and established a free democracy. What has the 3.8 trillion that Obama has spent in SIX months done?......
Who do you think put him in power in the early 70's. Do your research and stop listening to sound bites. 3.8 trillion went into fix what Geroge W Bush past 8 years messed up. You cant Blame Obama for the economy that was Bush and his cronies. At the end of the Day you still have to call him President Obama.
Honestly, if this poor health care reform bill still manages to pass in September, I am making a hasty withdraw from my bank accounts. All of it! There is a section in the bill which will allow the government to reach into our bank accounts at any given moment. Hmm. Something wrong with that. It's almost like.... STEALING! But of course, we can only expect this kind of mindset from Comrade Reid, Pelosi, and Chairman Obama!
section 163 of the bill says that the secretary of the treasury has access to financial transactions and their sources. They say it is for record keeping and being more responsible by having more info, but really, c'mon. It's the government. Responsible. HA
The insurance company does the same thing. The Bank is already stealing from you so it didnt just start. The FED steals from us every year unconstitutionally, where is your outrage? What is your suggestion to let these insurances companies keep getting rich and dropping people who are sick and need health care. Alot of the stuff in the bill I dont agree with, but health care reform needs to happen. At the end of the day emotions aside people are dying in emergency rooms waiting for insurance.
i agree nonetomuch Health care Reform does need to happen Its always good to improve a system. Or to change things for the better. But the changes which are being presented are NOT going to solve the problem only make it worse. How is the bank stealing from me? many people feel the the FED is unconstitutional (so did the holocaust museum killer). I will tell you, Britain and canada have similar systems like this new one, people dying waiting in line is hundreds times worse than what we have now!
When you open an account the bank takes your money, and uses your to make new money. The more money you deposit the more money is made. Most banks only keep a percentage of the money they have on hand, so if everyone walk in the bank at the same time and asked for their money the bank would not be able to make their debt good. Google "How banks use money to make money". The Holocaust museum killer was crazy, but it is unconstitutional.
The bank doesn't take your money, when you open an account you trust them to keep your money safe and ACCOUNTED for. Yes, the capital you just gave them will be used to go and invest with so that they make more money (funny thing is, they give you a piece of the pie too! DIVIDENDS!) So really the banks are providing you with a very good service. It's not socialism. I thought you were gonna come up with a good one there for a moment.
Over drafting thats how banks make their money. The banks delay deposits to catch you with insufficient funds. Everyone has had an overdraft before, sometimes its not you fault sometimes it is. I have caught my bank on numerous occasions doing this. They had to refund me my money and apologize. Every bank does this. The Banks just made 38 billion off of overdraft charges in a recession. They raised overdraft fees in a recession. That doesnt strike you as strange.
And that is an honest mistake. But when you over draft, you have just withdrawn money you do not really have. Let's see. That stealing. Sorry, not socialist.
No not an honest mistake. When you overdraft it is either in check form or debit you cannot with draw money you dont have, and yes its your fault. But if the bank charges you money for there mistake, my friend that is stealing. If you never noticed that on your bank statement the bank would not tell you How do you think BOA made $4 billion in profit of overdrafts. WE will just have to agree to disagree
No, it is an honest mistake by the bank sometimes. People, you know, humans, we make mistakes. Little screw-ups. Server time-outs and transaction timing with banks and establishments can sometimes make an accidental overdraft. You go to the bank and show their mistake. They give you your money back. Sorry, still not socialist.
Look the transactions are done by machines, not humans. The only thing the teller does is input your info into the banks computer. They have programs that actually do the work making the transaction happen, not some dude in the back room. Everything is done with computers now. There have been studies to prove what I am saying, you are talking purely of of opinion WAKE UP.The bank is there to make money not be your friend, so dont put all your trust into an institution that was built to make money.
of course they want to make money. That's why they do it. It's not a freakin charity! ANd do you think that these computer just crapped these programs into existence. AI still has to come a long way for that. People can make mistakes. I know quite a bit about computer systems and networks and how to analyze them. Bank servers can sometimes be overloaded with requests and transactions that the timing is just right and you overdraft. Or there might be a glitch in the program (Human mistake).
Are you serious? All the banks are going to make the same mistakes, you know what I will just agree to disagree. You can completely trust the banks if you want to. All I ask of you is to read up on it. I was just trying to look out for you.
No one said I completely trust the banks. show me where I said that! I just said that mistakes are made at different levels. YOu just need to call them when it happens. and you keep running away like a coward when you agree to disagree. Where'd you learn that technique, peaceable place seminars in elementary school?
No, see when you deal with ignorance and stupidity you just agree to disagree. I see that you are never going to see my point so I will leave it where its at. You need to look at the whole world around you not just the people you live and work around. Besides we are on here arguing here like it will make a difference and at the end of the day it wont , so I will the bigger man and leave the convo. You can call me whatever its not like you would say it to my face.

Thank you for understanding.
pluto4847 1 year ago
@pluto4847 I dislike it too, but WE have to STOP THIS! Please understand, the passive attitude -exhibited by us all- has allowed the problems to "fester" for years and culminated in to the big problems we face now.
"All that is required for Evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." Sound familiar?
"Freedom isn't Free" sound familiar too?
We can't sit idly by while our Politicians fail to uphold their duties to We the People, growing a Government entity that ruins it for all of us.

@garwoodv6 Yes, those mindless catch phrases sound all too familiar. In fact, "freedom isn't free" is the punchline to a joke.

@lemonrind "Freedom isn't Free" is only a mindless catchphrase or the punchline to a joke to mindless, spoiled, never had to work to earn or take care of anything in your life and think it all just comes to you for the asking -typical of people like you apparently are.

Warning to all Tea Party Activists! I respect your right to protest, but please respect my right not to listen.
I have moved to an isolated area just so I can block out the sounds of irate, racist, bigoted, fat, arrogant tea party activists!
You are no longer welcome to send me flyers on my front door step. You are not welcome in my house, or on my private property.
If I find any Tea Party activists anywhere remotely near my residence, I will prosecute you for illegal tresspassing.
pluto4847 1 year ago
@pluto4847 you sound a little bigoted yourself.
Kiddeth 7 months ago
@Kiddeth
I'm not harming anybody else.
pluto4847 7 months ago
@Kiddeth
I just keep it to myself, and live a peaceful and quiet existence.
pluto4847 7 months ago
@pluto4847 For someone that states over and over again that you want to be left alone you sure do talk a lot of crap. As for being anti obamacare, I am anti-obama the man has lies at every turn. He has spent double the money in three years that bush did in 8.

Reality.
mscoyote50 2 years ago
SO FIX THE JOB PROBLEM FIRST! The Stimulus didn't!
reformcongress 2 years ago
no, mscoyote50, not reality.
VictorFairfellow 2 years ago
you'll be paying a heck of a lot more than $350 per month if we don't get some reform. 60% of bankruptcies are because of medical.
mscoyote50 2 years ago
whoa, What numbers are you using where does 250,000 dollars come in? Did you hear that from obama? He has said anywhere from $120,000- $250,000. And he will need to raise taxes to keep this program alive. It's too expensive to try and save 2% by punishing the rest
VictorFairfellow 2 years ago
It'll be at least $600 per month under the Democrats' get their way. Preexisting conditions will cost much more than that. And The government in the House Bill would tax you 2.5% if you don't carry "acceptable" coverage, but they haven't said what that is yet.

Nonetomuch 2 years ago
Might do your homework on this one too! Bush was given a declaration of war by the congress to go to war with Iraq. THe economy is always based on the most valuable thing. Now adays it is consumer confidence and oil. It used to be gold. Times change, so do standards. Even if the president does not have a declaration, the congress did pass an act which limited the president to like 60 days of military action against another state without a declaration of war. It has not been challenged in Sup crt
VictorFairfellow 2 years ago
Section 122 Page 29 explains that health care will be rationed and that maximum out of pocket expenses in the government option and minimum required coverages for insurance companies will rise every year starting $5000 for singles and $10000 for families. This is higher than most private insurance companies. Section 123 A Health Benefits Advisory Committee will be formed to decide what coverages people would have to carry under the mandated coverage that the bill would require if passed.
reformcongress 2 years ago
No they wouldn't have. There wouldn't have been an attempt to pass it without any debate. But the way the Democrats did it, it woke up the people and now the Democrats are on the defensive crying that they intend to do the right thing. Nonetomuch 2 years ago

I never said anyone was wrong are right I just dont agree and I am not obligated to. Oh and everyone is ignorant by definition so if want to insult me read a dictionary and try again
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
I don't know everything. that is why I research. I got my info from the same source you did, the Census Bureau. If you are trying to make valid arguments, then you need to say who's right and who's wrong. That's part of taking an argument. Go ahead and exit this discussion, because it is too obvious you are too incompetent to actually think logically and realistically let alone do research before you make a comment you will just run away from.
VictorFairfellow 2 years ago
Dude what are you talking about. If I dont agree with you I just dont agree. Damn. So I am running away from your stupidity. Becuase if you feel that you won then I guess you did. So I will send you a medal and tell the President Obama so he will con gr adulate you. At the end of the day none of what we say on here matters, so I give up to your superior way of thinking. You are blind WAKE UP
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
Here is an idea. If you want facts. Read the Bill. Its obvious you haven't read it. The reason why you didn't hear the solutions the GOP put up is because the DNC wouldn't allow them to be on the table. BIG MISTAKE to not allow people to represented. The Truth slaps ya in the face sometimes. Kind of like WMD's did to many on the right. GET WITH IT!
reformcongress 2 years ago
So now the powerful GOP's voice is shut down by the Almighty DEMS, please. Excuses are bridges to nowhere, they are tools of incompetence. You win I dont feel like arguing anymore you are not going to change my mind and I am not going to change yours.
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
Then you say you have made you points and will stick by them. Saying "I agree to disagree" is a cowards way out. Now that you have explained that you are unwilling to listen to reason and facts, I am satisfied. Sheeple like you will keep following blindly the men and women who are about to destroy our country in the name of humanity. I dismiss you. Have a great day.
VictorFairfellow 2 years ago
I am a coward because I dont agree with you LOL, well maybe we should meet so you can tell me that to my face, then we can have a real discussion, because I now you are not a coward. I live in Atlanta, let me know when you are coming. OH and OBAMA IS PRESIDENT and there is nothing you can or will do about it. LMAO!!!
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
I think Americans are doing something about - just today the pro-dem polls show Obam's approval rating has dropped lower - faster than any President in modern history.
riceski 2 years ago 5
You must be the only one in ATL that voted for him. Georgia went to McCain. Did you vote for him because he is black?
I wonder how Americans could have voted for the man given his past and what he was involved with before he was even in the senate. Or do you even know about all those things? Of course not.
grmcright 2 years ago 2
Did you vote for McCain because he is white? What things, Like 1. Took partially responsibility for the Walter Reed controversy 2. Was criticized for comments about Chelsea Clinton in 1998 3. Was a member of the Keating Five 4. Cindy McCain has admitted to past drug addiction 5. Battled rumors that his adopted daughter Bridget McCain was the result of an affair 6. Denies reports of an inappropriate relationship with lobbyist Vicki Iseman of my fault that was McCain.LMAO!!!
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
No I did not vote for McCain!!!!!!!!!!!
You did not answer the question.
Did You vote for Obama because he is Black?
When it comes right down to it you are no different than any other American. Meaning you will have the same health care the rest of us will have. Meaning you will be treated like the rest of us. Meaning you Will be told by the goverenment what treatment you Can and Can Not get. Meaning the gov. will have access to your bank account.
Don't take my word for it, read the bill!!!
grmcright 2 years ago
I voted for Obama because he is the best man for the job hands down and yes of course because he is black. In Americas 233 year history all the presidents have been white. So why not give him a chance? All it took was 400 years of slavery hundreds of hangings, 2 Kennedy assassinations, 1 King assassination and more tings I could name to get him there. And if you dont think racism is dead look at NoLibAlive's comments.
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
Racism isn't dead, but it isn't just white racists any more. There are blacks that are racist. THe least racist people in this country, as a race within itself is Latinos. But part of, if not much of it, was sparked by Obama when he used race baiting in his campaign. He ran as a black man. Why not run as an American?
reformcongress 2 years ago
Prejudice would be the right word to use racsim is a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule. Which means that there is no way that only 13% of the populaction can make laws and govern over the majority. He never used race as a platform his opposition did. If all the minorities voted for him he wouldnt have won.
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
As blacks are less than 13% of the population it seems odd to me that there would be a half black - half white President. After all, if people make a choice for President based on skin color, the current present would be white based on percentage of the population. The problem with your assertions are: He has no history in his family of being a slave. His family sold & owned slaves in Africa. Puts him on the other side. And color is not the issue anyway. Politics are.
gringott12 2 years ago
Yeah right, color is always an issue in this country. Its always easy to say color is not the issue if you never had a issue with your color have you. I never said his familiy had a history of being slaves what I said was he is a decendent of people who were stolen to be slaves. Not all the families who stayed in Africa sold slaves. Which this country never apologized for. The first 43 Presidents where white, thats why this was a historical electiion.
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
It really isn't as big as you make it out to be. And it wasn't even near the issue it is now because Obama pulled the race card in many cases. Why not just run on the values that you have honestly, and I bet Obama wouldn't have won a majority of any race in this country.
reformcongress 2 years ago
Not a big Issue, the reason some of you have an issue with Obama is because he is multi-racial. Obama never once pulled the race card. He tried his best not to bring up race, but it became an issue because this country never dealt with its race issues.Have you forgoten about the rallies that McCain and Palin had where people where shouting racial slurs and now how some of wishing death on him. Bush was in office for 8 years and destroyed our economy, the constitution, and our country.
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
He pulled the race card very early and often in his campaign. The first that I can remember of the top of my head. "They will make you scared by saying that I don't look like any of the Presidents on money".
reformcongress 2 years ago
Of course he said that after race had already become an issue. He couldnt run on race because he would not have won. He cant help but to run as an American who happens to be black. The first thing you see when you see Obama is his color, he cant chage that. People voted against him and some not at all because of his race, how do you feel about that? Does that not show stupidity? He doesnt look like the pres. on our money, and that makes some people scarred.
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
He said that to make race an issue. He also spoke about civil rights for blacks, which I'm trying to figure out which ones they don't have. It isn't that they don't have them, its a problem with exercising them.
And yes, you're right, many Democrats voted against him because of his race.
reformcongress 2 years ago
Some Democrats and Republicans alike voted against him because of his color. You are right exercising them is the problem because you can not change peoples minds no matter how much you change the laws. In some places people dont want a change. At least I can debate you about this issue because some would not. They believe so strongly in the past that they cant see the future.
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
Do you have an issue with the color you have? Like Michael Jackson? What kind of statement is that anyway?
He is not a decendent of people who were stolen to be slaves. Are you stupid? His family was in the business of capturing and selling slaves. He has never apologized for it. Africa still has slavery. Blacks owning blacks. When are you going to do something about that? Or is that ok with you?
gringott12 2 years ago
I am proud of my color and the accomplishment of people of color. This country would not be what it is today had it not been for black peolpe. Do you doubt that? In which country in Africa is there still slavery? Did you know most countries in Africa are just as advanced if not more than America? Have you ever been? Dont talk about things you dont know about. Why did you ignore my statement about Slavery? My great great grandfather was a slave and my family didnt profit off of his labor.
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
And he isn't a war criminal, unless you would also consider FDR a war criminal for instituting Martial Law in the United States for rounding up Japanese Americans.
reformcongress 2 years ago
By definition he is. Whether you want to believe it or not. What FDR did had nothing to do with war crimes, a president can declare Marshal Law when he see fit, thats the law.
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
No the President can't. Congress can. Article One Section 8. Bush did not commit any war crimes.
reformcongress 2 years ago
Yes he can The Military Commissions Act of 2006, Executive order 12919 gives him the power to. Read them both.

App. 2061, et seq.The Military Commissions Act of 2006 (MCA) read this Bush signed it into law on October 17, 2006. Everyone has a lack of knowledge even if some feel they know everything isnt that right gringott12?
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
No I don't doubt that. We would be better off for the most part.
Slavery in Africa today: Chad, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Sudan, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Ethiopia all have slavery in some amount today. For example, about 8% of the population of Niger are slaves. Sad but true. I have been in Africa more than once. Don't make me laugh. I seem to be much better informed than you Nonetomuch. My great grandfather was a serf and my family didn't profit off his labor. So what? Get informed.
gringott12 2 years ago
This is the thing, I dont belivce you have been to Africa. Equatorial Guinea, Botswana, Gabon, Libya, Mauritius, South Africa, Angola, Tunisia, Algeria, Eygpt, Ghana, Kenya ,Nigeria, Cape Verde are all advanced countries in Africa. some parts of South Africa, Ghana, and Egypt are more advanced than the US . I never said it wasnt slavery. I asked you what country it was in. Most people on hear talk and dont know what they are talking about believe me I know about present day slavery in Africa.
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
I have been to Egypt more than once. It is third world. Period. Some parts of south Africa approached or equaled the level of the US and Europe, however, that has been in rapid decline since black takeover. Zimb. is a starving hellhole thanks to black rule. Should I go on? How is that slavery in Africa? You are ok with that, but not America. What a loser.
gringott12 2 years ago
You have been to Egypt so that makes you an expert, get out of here with that. Try Ghana or actually go to South Africa before you talk about Africa. Most countries outside of Europe and North America are third world countries. You still dodged my statement about American slavery. Obama cant do anything about whats happening in Africa, he is not the president of any other country except America. Why didnt any president do anything about it. Slavery is wrong no matter were it is.
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
Egypt is 4th World.
American-sponsored, Israeli-loved Dictatorship.
And the banking cartels and AIPAC powers behind bringing you failed states like Iraq and Egypt, are breaking down America as we speak.

Nonetomuch: UNICEF estimates that 200,000 children are sold in slavery each year in central and west africa.
U.S. State Department estimates, up to 90,000 blacks are owned by North African Arabs, and often sold as property in a thriving slave trade for as little as $15 per human being.

Nonetomuch 2 years ago
You think you're gaining any unity by referring to Bush as a "War Criminal"? You're not helping. You're hurting. If you hate Bush that much, then it shows that you're the one with the hate issue, not us.
reformcongress 2 years ago
I never once said I hate Bush, I dont know him to hate him. I disagree with his actions as president and by definition Anyvarious crimes, such as genocide or the mistreatment of prisoners of war, committed during a war and considered in violation of the conventions of warfare. By definiton he is a war criminal. Hate is a strong word that I dont use often and which I never used in here.
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
He like Congress swore to defend our Constitution against Enemies. Not to give them protection under it.
reformcongress 2 years ago
Strong words, war criminal. What do you base your opinion on? More nonsense like many countries in Africa are more advanced than the United States? You are a joke, sir.
gringott12 2 years ago

Get your on voice and open your eyes.

reformcongress 2 years ago
You know whats funny, you act as if this bill is going to destroy our country. We have bigger issues.Thought-Crime Legislation . The Patriot act which throws our constitution out the window thanks bush, also they are trying to pass a bill to make it mandatory for us to take this H1N1 vaccine, this has nothing to do with the Obama. These are the people we put in there to represent us in government, where is your outrage about that? You seem angry at me you need to be angry at both parties!!
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
There is plenty. Notice my nickname. ReformCongress. I selected that for a reason. I am angry at both parties, therefore, Reform Congress. Obama on the other hand is pushing a plan that only the Democrats participated in writing. HR 3218 and HR 3400 are two bills that the Democrats rejected. Read those too. You'll see they are infinitely better than the bill the Democrats wrote.
reformcongress 2 years ago
How do you plan on Reforming Congress? and Would it look more like America? Would you have multiple races and more women represented or would it look more of the same? I will be honest those two bills are not as serious as either one I put up. If the health care bill never passes then health care will stay the same, which is already a crime. But the three bills I put up are much more serious. They throw all your rights out the window, thats serious. Think about it.
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
Let me count the ways. McGaskill, we're going to actively campaign to defeat her in 2014 which is when she will be up for election again. Of course, we aren't just going after Democrats. We're also trying to defeat our own Republican incumbent in the House in my congressional district. We have meetings each and every week where at least 2 members of our group have filed papers to run for either the US Senate or the House. These are people like you and me.This isn't the only place either!
reformcongress 2 years ago
I feel you. Are you working on something for the present? I dont have a problem with what you are doing. I am glad to see that you are taking responsibility for your party. I dont have a problem with Rep. I do have a problem with anyone who believes that the people in there party are always right. More Americans need to do what you all are doing and stop just talking.
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
Yes. 912 Project. I'm not the main organizer but I joined the group in Ft. Worth. We've gotten some publicity on this thing and major news outlets are going to be covering it. Judge Andrew Napolitano is going to be speaking as the keynote speaker as well as some of these brand new candidates for the House of Representatives, US Senate, and the Governor of Texas, because we aren't too proud of Rick Perry.
reformcongress 2 years ago
I will be looking out. Its good to see Americans using there rights to make a difference in Washington instead of spewing hate on blogs. Even though we dont agree on the reform issue, I agree with you on making a change you believe in. So go Reform congress with all do respect!
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
I'm opposed to the proposals that the Democrats want to pass, and not entirely in support of a Federal Government solution on total health care reform, but there are parts the Federal Government can't help in solving the problem but they can't do it alone. It is going to have to go all the way down to State legislative and executive branches to get it done effectively without infringing on the rights of people in one state to satisfy those of another state. The reason the 10th amendment exists
reformcongress 2 years ago
You are right but, when Bush passed the Patriot Act because of the supposed terrorist acts, It put the government in total control. It has not been lifted yet. It puts the constitution as a whole to the side and lets the government decide what rights you have left if any. But yes you are right if in fact they dont find some of our freedom of speech offensive and put us on a watch list.
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
Deborah Medina is the woman we are putting up for Governor of Texas. Mr. Adams I believe is a guy in Florida that we are supporting, an African-American Conservative. I have to see if I can find his full name so you can check him out. I was quite impressed. There is one guy that is running for Rep that has been attending our meetings that I'm thinking about running against myself because I think he's just like the rest of the a-holes in DC.

Yeah do that, I feel that even though I am not a conservative or a republican I still would like to know who is vying for some of these positions. I vote for who I feel will do the best job.

If you can come up with a plan that is economically sound to help the needy let me know.

reformcongress 2 years ago
compromising only goes so far. Hmmm?
VictorFairfellow 2 years ago
I am not a Republican or a Democrat, but yes you do blame the Bush Regime. He was in office for eight years and our economy started to go down a year after the war started. I cant blame Obama for that. I cant say Bush kept us safe, I am not a conspiracy theorist but I dont believe the story they told us about 9/11 , the facts and evidence just doesnt add up. I believe Democrats and Republicans are the same, just different colors.
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
And you think that the 9/11 theory has more merit than the fact that Obama has not proven himself constitutionally qualified to be president? THere's more merit for the "birthers" based on a lack of evidence of his natural birth in America
VictorFairfellow 2 years ago
For those that believe these people at the town hall meetings don't know what they're talking about, it has become very obvious they are very knowledgeable on the bill and that the Democrats do not want these details to get to the public. THere is much more than that.
reformcongress 2 years ago
Now you can stop with that. The State of Hawaii has put his birth certificate out twice. If he was not born in America believe me the Clinton's would have found that out a long time ago. Besides John McCain was born in Panama. John Sidney McCain III (born August 29, 1936). A 1948 Supreme Court decision declared that while Congress "controlled" the Canal Zone, the U.S. did not possess "sovereignty". At the end of the Day you still have to call him PRESIDENT OBAMA.
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
As far as blaming Obama, the stimulus he signed isn't working, It is this congress that tried to ram through cap and trade, and that is their fault, and then this health care plan, which he obviously isn't reading, he's still trying to sell it. And Obama himself said he wanted a Single Payer system, then he pretends he never said it. Barney Frank said the same thing less than a month ago. The Democrats aren't any better than the GOP that we already punished.
reformcongress 2 years ago
I don't know what state you're in, but in my state we have been using the stimulus money and have less unemployment and are getting better roads and mass transit. Besides, the republicans are the ones who reduced the stimulus money and put 40% of it into tax breaks -- the unemployed don't pay taxes, so that's not really stimulus.
mscoyote50 2 years ago
if they have property they do. There's other tax you pay friend. And the stimulus did not help much on a national level. There was too much pork and waste to frivilous causes. THey could have given every american an equal share of that money and that would have been better stimulus. People could have paid debts and bought cars and other things. That would have helped the economy better.
VictorFairfellow 2 years ago
The have not! They continually refuse to show his birth certificate. The actual one, not the one that just anyone can go get. Job. McCain was born on a military base in panama. Federal property. We do have soverignty over that. At the end of the say he is still chairman Obama.
VictorFairfellow 2 years ago

It is kind of amazing some "people" think health costs are like buying a car or any other commercial proposition (eg: all the insurance co-sponsored posts on Youtube by varying "people"). You can plan to buy a car or a house: it's your own responsibility and your money allocation--but you can't plan a medical affliction. Not the same. I simply note one anti-health plan person on Ytube had her two fave videos as a) a revolver shooting into a tank, and b) a clip of Milton F'man on "Greed". True!!

VictorFairfellow 2 years ago 2

section 163 of the bill says that the secretary of the treasury has access to financial transactions and their sources. They say it is for record keeping and being more responsible by having more info, but really, c'mon. It's the government. Responsible. HA
VictorFairfellow 2 years ago
The insurance company does the same thing. The Bank is already stealing from you so it didnt just start. The FED steals from us every year unconstitutionally, where is your outrage? What is your suggestion to let these insurances companies keep getting rich and dropping people who are sick and need health care. Alot of the stuff in the bill I dont agree with, but health care reform needs to happen. At the end of the day emotions aside people are dying in emergency rooms waiting for insurance.
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
i agree nonetomuch Health care Reform does need to happen Its always good to improve a system.
VictorFairfellow 2 years ago
When you open an account the bank takes your money, and uses your to make new money. The more money you deposit the more money is made. Most banks only keep a percentage of the money they have on hand, so if everyone walk in the bank at the same time and asked for their money the bank would not be able to make their debt good. Google "How banks use money to make money". The Holocaust museum killer was crazy, but it is unconstitutional.
Nonetomuch 2 years ago
The bank doesn't take your money, when you open an account you trust them to keep your money safe and ACCOUNTED for. Yes, the capital you just gave them will be used to go and invest with so that they make more money (funny thing is, they give you a piece of the pie too! DIVIDENDS!) So really the banks are providing you with a very good service. It's not socialism. I thought you were gonna come up with a good one there for a moment.
VictorFairfellow 2 years ago

Nonetomuch 2 years ago
No one said I completely trust the banks. show me where I said that! I just said that mistakes are made at different levels. YOu just need to call them when it happens. and you keep running away like a coward when you agree to disagree. Where'd you learn that technique, peaceable place seminars in elementary school?
VictorFairfellow 2 years ago
No, see when you deal with ignorance and stupidity you just agree to disagree. I see that you are never going to see my point so I will leave it where its at. You need to look at the whole world around you not just the people you live and work around. Besides we are on here arguing here like it will make a difference and at the end of the day it wont , so I will the bigger man and leave the convo. You can call me whatever its not like you would say it to my face.
